Combo of reasons:

>I like playing games at my own pace instead of trying to keep up with the constantly changing and evolving meta that a lot of MP games have.
>I don't have a lot of time for multiplayer like I used to when I was younger. This makes it hard to keep up with new stuff.
>Very few MP games interest me in this day and age and have gotten some bad habits in the last few gens.

I still play the odd MP title here and there, but I generally just prefer SP.
