Nioh 2 DLC

Think you can escape me by going to the past, Hide?

NO DANJO DON'T INVADE ME I'VE GOT 40 MILLION AMRITA

My internet is horrendous and it will take me three days to download, is it fun?

>they actually added Danjo invading you in the dlc
bros?

I'M GONNA SAY IT
the dlc was too easy

HOLY FUCK!
The fuck was that about? Only two main missions and four bosses, three if you don't count the return of Nue in a side-mission.
Haven't gotten to the painted missions yet and have no idea what they are.
Splitstaff is okay but its another magic weapon so it can fuck off.
Two of the spirits have the purity element on them so corruption spirits like Oroboros might come along later.
Can't help but feel disappointed, hope the second DLC makes up for it.

Don't read the spoilers unless you want spoilers, except story spoilers because I don't do those.

Damn, didn't even check the samurai tree. Thanks

just the DLC or including Demon?
Demon is killing me hard with the higher HP on Yokai and Revenants

I hope the other dlcs are gonna have a bit more story to them and don't play out in the exact same way.
But i feel like they really shot themself in the foot with the whole sending us into different time periods thing.
I can't even see them have an overarching plot. the evil lurking in the shadows or whatever yoshitsune was talking about at the end was obviously just kashin koji, which we already took care of in the present

You know what I hope for? A true final boss after you beat all three DLCs.
Maybe give Otakemaru an additional form or something like that or buff him up supremely.

And if you already beat all three DLCs, have Yoshitsune and all the other Sohayamaru holders join you in the fight against beefed up Otakemaru just like the true final boss of Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2.

Seems we're still going for Otakemaru but we have to beat him at the origin source because he's invincible otherwise.
We've killed him in the now but to create the best timeline, we have to kill him way back when.

>Demon painting is literally just a single room with 1 or 2 bosses

Was kinda hoping for a mini-abyss. Something like every floor you clear is 1 reroll chance. Gets progressively harder each floor but the chance of a good roll also goes up.

No we are just playing it ironically.

Is there a way to make divine gear without a grace set bonus? They are all shit, and I'd rather have an extra slot for something actually useful.

With divine shards

Anyone wanna do some early WotD missions in a couple minutes?

Expedition? Sure.

Wtf so there's time travel in nioh 2? Intredasting
Can someone jist guve me a quick rundown on the story? I don't care for spoilers.

Sure

Any anons got builds I can use? I beat the game back at launch and I know my magic missle build was gutted along with the snake Spirit I used.

How? I'm not seeing the option anywhere

A'ight, sorry for the wait.
Room code is "ONI"

PC port when?

You touch a flute and you're on the past, that's literally it
Cutscenes are one minute long and story is garbage, nioh's trademark

Good to see Nue back there was no reason to not have him in this game

One slot left for some early DotD missions!

>go back to the past to rescue my Naga
>get sent to America

Press triangle while hovering forge.

I really hope they end up bringing back more Nioh 1 bosses in the future DLCs. I would love to see them adding moves to Hino Enma and Joro Gumo.

I'm going through the first game for the DLC
Hino-Enma is for some reason being the wall to me. Despite me never having trouble before.

Any advice? Paralyzing me isn't a problem. It's her attack, the spinning one seems to come out of fucking nowhere and tracks me if I'm in melee and dodge past her/beside her/away from her

I forgot about the invisbile enemies issue when loading into started expedition boss fights, and now I crashed.

Play defensive. Don't get too greedy. Only attack her after she's in recovery frames from her combo string. Don't attack her when she's idle.

Block the first hit and then dodge forward for the second.

Managed to beat Toshimitsu with only 1kat, light armor, and no magic/ninjutsu. What a thrill.

>Azai Nagamasas dive is no longer counterable
Is this a Dream of Demon exclusive thing?

Grace sets are back

I can't wait for the PC port.

wtf they stole all my embercite crystals that i farmed, i had like 1 billion in amrita stored and its gone

How is the DLC? Any new enemies? Saw a short gif of the new weapon and dont think I like it that much

nm im retarded and forgot i put it in an ingot

Oh no, it's only the size of every Nioh 1 DLC

too long

>can now replace mortal flow on 2kat with sacred bird cry in low stance

Nice.

>finish DLC
>go on YouTube to see how other people have been faring against the bosses
>see some guy has uploaded a no-damage video against all the DLC bosses on Dream of the Strong
>"okay, this might be interesting, I might learn a thing or two from this guy, can't wait to see whatever unique tactics he has against these bosses"
>start video
>he gets to the Benkei fight
>immediately casts Sloth
>plays extremely passively and like a bitch and clearly doesn't know the fights too well
>close video

I guess I'll have to wait for actually good players like Last to Load or Whitegoat to actually showcase these bosses.

how are people using my demon scrolls?

Judging by the Spirit Division cutscene, by going into the past where the Sohayamaru was used, we're strengthening it further so we can go to the origin point of Otakemaru and try to seal him away for good.

>Hawqua still #1
>still a Toyotomitard
based

That new splitstaff weapon is fucking disappointing. Is there any new skills for katana at least?

Learn to change stance to allow yourself to be far more aggressive and punish her combos safely, as well as to better dodge her attacks. Block her attacks and dash away from others, it's just as good as if not better than dodging for certain moves. Shoot her when she's in the air, or walk under her to bait her down. You can use paralysis healing items while you're actually paralysed, not just to remove the buildup. Ki Pulse Ki Pulse Ki Pulse.
