So, I was watching Kasumi's convos on youtube (because I played P5 so many times at this point I'm still sick of it after all these years and can't be assed to play the game just for the new content).

Who is worse: Marie or Kasumi? They have the same energy about them.
Kasumi is somehow even more of a hamfisted inclusion than Marie and her personality isn't anything to write home about, but Marie's personality is fucking insufferable.
only played p5 base but after playing golden on pc recently I can't imagine anyone could be more offputting and awkwardly written as marie. Whats worse is from the little jap I understand, her dumbass word vomit quirk is clearly an annoying translator's liberty.
Marie is perfectly fine. Her hate is primarily because of the Golden anime (which forces her in where she isn't in the game) and a fair supply of sour grapes (I was guilty of this myself, being unwilling to buy a Vita for one game).

Marie is incredibly unlikable whereas Kasumire is obviously meant to be incredibly likable
I found the latter to be incredibly cheesy and protagonist felating compared to even the other girls in the game but still somehow less infuriating than Marie

They seemed to be tryharding at first to make the perfect waifu bait, she was an extremely polite girl and an honour student that was way into the protagonist. I liked her much better during the later parts of the game and especially in the third semester. It's rather disappointing that you can use her in one dungeon, though.
