i wish people remembered this game
Xbox had multiple kino.
This, Jade Empire, JSRF, etc.
>start up the multiplayer
>one of the characters literally has no animations and just T poses everywhere
I remember as a kid loving the idea of collecting the enemies as playable characters in multiplayer and them having their own weapons and means of combat rather than just being a skin. Still cool to me
I remember seeing this game in stores, but I have no idea what it's about.
>Brute Force
>Phantom Crash
>Timesplitters 2 and FP
> Quantum Redshift
>Blinx
>Serious Sam 2
>Future Tactics: Uprising
>Dr. Muto
>Grabbed By The Ghoulies
>JSRF
The Xbox had some pretty based games on it, ngl.
I wish more xbox games would get leaked already
Some admiral dude assembles a squad of super-jobbers to go and do various secret missions and they end up BTFOing an entire alien species iirc.
I remember renting it from Blockbuster and being thoroughly unimpressed, even when I got to some splitscreen with friends. I remember generic uninspired levels with repetitive waves of enemies.
can't forget about these classics my guy
>crimson skies
>steel battalion
>blood wake
>cs1.6 for xbox (hey fuck you I liked it)
>FUSIOOOOOON FRENZYYYYYY
I played the ever living fuck out of Jade Empire as a kid, and still play through the game every 2 years.
>jet set radio made it to PC
>JSRF did not
>hack the Xbox
>do the 128Mb RAM mod
>suddenly an arcade exclusive is fully playable because it ran on an arcade board based off the Xbox's hardware
Fucking awesome.
While not exclusive, you can also play the arcade version of Ghost Squad too.
forgot picture
I remember renting it from a Movie Gallery and that's about it. It was pretty clearly just trying to capitalize on everyone's hype for Halo 2.
You forgot
>Panzer Dragoon Orta
>Ninja Gaiden Black
>Otogi
>Stubbs the Zombie
>Oddworld Stranger's Wrath
>Battle Engine Aquila
>Mechassault
>Phantom Dust
>otherwise PC exclusive games like Half-Life, Morrowind and Arx Fatalis
it was literally 'hidden gems' the console
Isn't it something to do with music licensing issues or something?
All I want is XboX emulation on pc so I can coom in DOA3 and DOA Volleyball.
BINGO
Is it better now?
never said "good emulation"
So is Xbox emulation any good or even possible yet?
what is it about certain hardware architecture that makes it more difficult to emulate? it just seems interesting that there's emulators for the current gen consoles and yet an og xbox emulator has yet to be anywhere near the quality of an emulator like dolphin, or something like that
I really liked this console and it irritates me that they didn't just go ahead and port everything to PC. Like, how do Brute Force stay on the Xbox when it was made by Microsoft?
I unironically believe Xbox had the best games. GC was a fucking joke and the PS2 exclusives were nothing but weebshit and kiddieshit - plus terrible looking multiplats with shit framerate.
Pretty sure its down to the Nvidia GPU the xbox uses.
It has custom shit that only the xbox used
Sup
And in 15+ years no autist tried to backward engineer it?
From what it sounds like that IS what they're trying to do
SHADOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!
Fuck off, MS doesn't owe you shit. They already made all Xbox One and future games available on PC. Least they could do is let actual Xbox fans keep the few OG and 360 exclusives we have left and make them easily accessible on Series X.
>Yandere Dev noises increasing
I wish Capcom released Xbox ports of Dino Crisis 1 and 2 like how they ported Resident Evil 2 and 3 to the Gamecube.
>Fuck off, MS doesn't owe you shit.
multibillion corporations don't need you to defend them man don't worry they're doing just fine
>They already made all Xbox One and future games available on PC.
factually untrue why would you even say that what the fuck lol
>Least they could do is let actual Xbox fans keep the few OG and 360 exclusives we have left and make them easily accessible on Series X.
why do you love brand loyalty so much holy shit you're literally asking for less options as a consumer
