Windows has a lot of bloatware and shit that you can avoid on Linux.
That's the main reason I like Linux. Plus it runs on everything smoothly.

Proton is literally Wine + DXVK with very small patches to Wine like a fullscreen patch to work well with the Steam overlay.

Wine-staging (with DXVK) by itself is newer and often better.

You literally just too dumb to use Wine by itself.
