I just got an Oculus Quest so I'm experimenting with stuff in there. Need to get Vivecraft and Half Life Alyx up and running today.
The hand tracking is fucking mindblowing though, as well as how accurate the roomscale is. I am very impressed

Yeah, I bought the bundle of Asylum, City and Knight so I haven't played Origins. Might grab it later down the line, though
I agree that City is overrated. The main plot has a lot of urgency to it so it feels wrong to go do side stuff. In Asylum, you looped back to the same areas often enough that solving the optional puzzles wasn't a chore and was a fun little diversion from beating up goons and so on

AARnon's Khitan AAR. Just finished reading his Napoleon Revivalist run of France in Victoria 2. The guy puts a lot of fucking effort into reinterpreting the rather minimalist flavor text within the game to seem organic and fluid.

I also saw a silverfish in the middle of my bathroom floor when I got up to piss. I dunno why everyone I know seems to be wigged out by them, they honestly look pretty neat.

Origins is basically City but with a slightly more consistent story and more enjoyable side-quests
when it came out people threw shit at it due to the glitches but those are fixed by now
also Bruce is more aggressive and it has a few kino scenes like where tortures a guy to interrogate him
