You guys are both right. I never understood why Microsoft doesn't wage a holy war against Sony after 2013 with the bad xbone start. I guess they did get a shit ton of studio's but we don't know if their games will be good. But xboners got gamepass, backwards compatibility and much more while the PS4 is like an upgraded Xbox 360. They got party chat nowadays but still far behind xbox's social software. Why doesn't Microsoft just bid a shit ton of money to make the next call of duty entirely an exclusive for 1 year on their console and PC store. It is really easy to defeat them. But instead they play Pacifist and share cloud streaming technology with Sony for whatever reason. I assume Sony has to pay them a lot for using it but I don't see the bigger picture

i can use any controller with a USB on my computer.

i choose to use the platform where it is my choice to select how much power i want/need at the resolution i want. console companies and their shareholders believe that everyone and their grandmothers want 4k. so they make the bare minumum for fake 4k and they push it onto their fans (you), knowing that these modern consoles have more than enough power to run their games smoothly, but no, they crank up the resolution to unneeded sizes and makes games run lag and choppy and under 30fps because it cannot truly handle (even fake) 4k. you do not have a choice either. what the shareholders want is what you are going to get

i can buy a game on PC and get a full refund under very easy, lenient terms (2 days and/or 2 total hours played or so). choice for full refund

also a choice to NOT pay for your game

also the choice of the most games available on any platform that includes a massive console library through emulation
