Dreamcast emulator

Holy crap have I been sleeping on Dreamcast emulation for the last few years. I had no idea it had come this far. With the exception of not being able to run games that rely on Windows CE, this is damn near perfect.

Yeah, on the same note, how's the Saturn?

When the library is so small its pretty bad it cant run the windows ce games then, thats a decent chunk of titles

SEGA Rally 2 and Tomb Raider 4/5 are the only notable titles that aren't compatible. Everything else is super obscure.

what would you even emulate, every good game has been ported to other consoles, like skies of arcadia.

>worms
>virtua cop 2
>bust a move 4

nintendr*ne

2 emus run it perfectly

mednafen is fine
Toy Commander, Techromancer, a lot of arcade games as the DC versions were usually the best versions

what's the best emulator to run tony hawk 2: reicast or redream?

idk about virtual cop but you can already play the other two on any PC

Toy Commander, Crazy Taxi 2, Metropolis Street Racer, Power Stone, Cannon Spike, Bangai-O, Cosmic Smash, Tokyo Extreme Racer, PenPen TriIcelon, the SEGA sport games, a DC exclusive Cool Boarders game...

Even Sonic Adventure is worth playing on emulator because no official release ever added widescreen.

The dreamcast has a bunch of decent no name games that you can't play on other consoles.

Isn't power stone on the psp?

which? not joking I'm really interested, I loved the console while I had it, remember playing games like Evolution, Shenmue, Oni, Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adv 1&2, that memory card that had a screen...

>games that rely on Windows CE
What

>Sega arcade games
Mame

>Power stone without local multiplayer
I'll pass

I wish every emulator use this kind of GUI or like Dolphin's at least.
I love to see box arts

Dreamcast runs well but the library is horribly ass. PlayStation emulation works just as well and has infinitely better games. I assume you are on your phone and emulating from it. I emulate Dreamcast, GBA, DS, 3DS, PSP, and PS1. You can emulate every console very well up to 2001. GameCube emulation works very well too but it's not always highest tier, some games are slower than others. You can also emulate a Wii pretty reliably if you have a high tier processor

>DC library
>Ass
The Dreamcast's library is fucking incredible for a system that only lasted two years.

Windows CE was the Dreamcast's OS

Berserk, Blue stinger, Maken, Cannon spike, Zombie revenge, illbleed, dynamite cop, Daytona, Rival school 2, Tech-romancer, etc. I don't know if all of them are exclusive.
You can use Launchbox, user.

>Toy Commander
my nigga, i have the biggest nostalgia boner for this game

>The commercially successful system that got new games for almost a decade has more games than a system that got cancelled right after it came out.
I am shocked.

The best games on the Dreamcast are usually better ports of PlayStation games. I usually use it for playing those. Other than that, the library features really obscure games. It's like 30% percent fish related games and the other parts are unknown puzzle/rhythm games

And they're almost all good, somehow. Shit's weird.

Game dev was at a sweet spot for total cost and system performance and cash was flowing to anything in hopes it would stick. The only things that are close to that kind of output were the DS and the indie revolution.

Nope, it was on disc, a version of Windows CE would boot from the disc before running game code. There’s no windows CE built into the Dreamcast
