What is a good controller for emulation on PC?

what is a good controller for emulation on PC?

should I just get another sixaxis/DS3?

Get a decent pc one. I got like a Chinese 360 ripoff for pc, and the sticks are so oversensitive with no smoothness of control.

Whatever is most applicable to what you emulate the most of. Mostly PS1/2 stuff for me so I just use my DS4 for pretty much everything. I like my SF30 for 2D stuff though.

I have no problems with the later revision of the xbox one controller, before that I used a DS4.

Wii U Pro Controller

i do mostly SNES these days but still do a good bit of PS2.

look at 8bitdo's stuff then or a generic snes pad clone then. 8bitdo has the benefit of adding thumbsticks to most of their pads so you can at least pull double duty with it if pressed.

ds3 is what I've been using for years but you can't really find new genuine ones anymore. You can only find them used or the shitty chink knockoffs. So yeah if you have one, use it. Otherwise check out the 8bitdo controllers. The sn30pro+ is really solid, easily the best 3rd party controller I've ever used.

Those arms always look so goofy but owning a regular SN30 I know they've gotta feel nice.

I hear the D-pad sucks and keeps giving false inputs?

Yeah I've got the regular sn30pro without the arms. Bought it right before the + came out but it's a great travel controller since it can easily fit in a bag. Great for 2d games too.

news to me.

logitech f310

not that guy. i have 2 and the inputs are fine. if you buy one, do update the firmware

if you have tiny hands maybe

like drumpf XD

>$50 for a third party controller
holy shit might as well just get a real one

Why the fuck would you get those, literally shittiest PS controllers ever made

it came with the PS3

the original SNES-30 did dont know if they ever fixed it 100%

are rephnet adapters good? could use a SNES classic on pc?

i use my hori fighting commander for emulating old consoles and it's fucking great. You can even use it for some PSX/PS2 games if they don't require you to use both analog sticks, so most RPGs if that's what you like.

Get a Dualshock 4. It's the best.

>DS3
Have fun actually finding one, they all broke at the same time they randomly started making them
Like, it's actually amazing how hard it is to find one

>stopped making them*
I'm retarded

Is DS3 some golden standard? I have two that I've been using for yonks thinking I was budget binning it.

good luck buying a new one and not getting a fake

i use cheap chinese dualshock knockoffs and they work great

>retard
They're the smoothest analog sticks of any controller available. Seriously, I play many old pc fps's with this thing, no aim assist required, because the sticks are just that good. You get binary buttons for shooting with L1 and R1. The the triggers do suck, but you rarely need them and you can get plastic bolt on triggers for like $5 if you really want to.

i could just say fuck it and grab a DS4 even though I dont own a PS4 and then get a adapter thing for SNES classic.

Here's a tip. The only surefire way to get a DS3 that isn't fake anymore is to buy a PS3 game that comes with a controller, like Killzone 2 or Uncharted Greatest Hits, then sell the game and keep the controller.

no DS3 is garbage. Grab a DS4 if you really want one

any good controller with motion control? wanna try emulate botw on cemu but there are some shriens that require motion control

xbox one + charge kit
