Nioh 2

Reds aside WotD is actually fun!

How do I set confusion up?

Inflict two elements in one enemy

Grab a purity splitstaff
Put unruly revolution in mid and high stance
Put lightening on one and have the other baseline
Spin in mid
Spin in high
The enemy is now confused, rape it’s face

>Reds
And human bosses

They need to maybe just give human bosses better armor on some attacks, or up their damage while drastically adjusting their Ki scaling
It gets ridiculous in three man expeditions

>do dojo mission
>only way to win is spam parries because they kill you in 2 - 3 hits and have a billion ki

It's funny how human bosses in the first game were such a threat, yet in this game feel like just another trash mob. The difficulty in Dream of the Demon has made the game a little better but I'm still waiting for real bullshit missions and fights like in the original game.

>Liking bullshit
Retard

God, I'm still pissed they took out revtrading.

Friends?

Nah, they mostly felt bullshit to me. So obvious that they didn't really play by the same rules that you do.

I made a rifle build with 80% untouched ammo and it was a pain in the ass even with rev trading so I can't imagine how it'll be now that it's out.

so I am in the ng++ with spinstaff and my damage is abysmal and it takes too long to kill the basic enemies.
What are the best status effects combos? I was running imbued poison with 60% bonus damaged on poisoned enemies, but this doesn't seem to work as good anymore.

Try stacking confusion along with poison damage buff. Also does your staff have around 2.2k attack? I got through most of DotD with a staff of that attack rating.

I'm fairly sure it's just your gear level sucking dick

My comfy Shutes club life regen build with obsidian set build does not kick it any more.
any comfy builds I can try?

>new difficulty
>add new moves to enemies
>change what moves can be burst countered
>change attack speed for some attacks
>change enemy layout
>change enemies around the map
>introduce special enemies
>they do some more damage
I'm fine with that, but a gorillion health and ki just to make you fight for half a year without errors if you don't have an autistic build is straight up bullshit

You can always stop using axe

>way of the demon difficulty where you fight every single dojo master back to back with the absurd Ki recovery they have Is tense as hell
>the mission gives you almost 70 million Amrita
I really don’t want to farm this for levels but that Amrita...

>Also does your staff have around 2.2k attack?
nah its only +8 and about 1.9k I didn't bother crafting yet. What are the best fixed stats to look for first? Does Ki damage matter for the sheen crusher?
indeed.

Always get change to attack (Highest attribute). Also remodel your weapon to you highest stats. These two alone should bump any +10 weapon to ~2.2k. Shin crusher does the highest ki damage of all your moves, so stacking ki damage is entirely viable.

Been taking things fairly slowly and got through the third zone last night on WotD. Only died three times so far surprisingly. Once to a yoki when I was playing dumb and twice to revanants. I never got this far in the first game but are revanants supposed to be so insanely tough? 90% of the time they just attack through everything and deal loads of damage. They're easily the hardest thing so far and I've started ignoring them instead of farming them like I would on the previous difficulty.

No, revenants are retarded in DotD for some reason

How exactly does paralysis work? Sometimes I get the prompt telling me I can go for the knockdown and sometimes I get no prompt and the guy just stands there frozen for like 2 seconds and I just wasted my build up.

Help! Benkei is farming me!
How do I beat this guy?

Ryona is good but I hate gorefags who want to make a bloody mess. It's a good thing like watching a bitch get a well deserved slap to the face to bring her back to reality

What's the best staff ability to put Imperious Strike on?

Based
Benkei only wants the best for you, git gud

How is rev trading dead? Can people still drop orange inheritables?

I think technically the meme starred melee damage percent skills are better, perhaps elemental weapon damage or active skill damage as well. CTA is never bad, though.

Don't bother - revs in kato's armor don't even get stunlocked through a moonlit snow.

Obsidian samurai is good for axes.

Rev gear is re-rolled when you pick it up now

where can I get Inaris Smiting text?

I got Koroku's combat art. We pro wrestler now

The meme star rolls seems to be hilariously powerful, I've seen +5% melee damage on armor pieces, and +20% on zero ki accessories. Too bad with rev trade dead, its basically impossible to get those stars on the right armor sets.

You already have them :^)
