Should I buy it?

should I buy it?

Is your testosterone low, are you a male feminist or a white knight? If yes, you should buy it.

All pokemon games past gen 3 are dog shit, so no.

No its barebones and isnt worth more than 10

Pokken tournament is barebones shovelware. Save your money for something like Super Robot Wars X, T or V

Its a great game, but I wouldnt buy any fighting game past a year of its final update. You wont get any players on your level, if any. And the single player modes are not worth it.

good thread op

the free trial made me want to get it and it's on sale in the eShop for $42 but I want it physically
Walmart Target and best buy have all marked it down to $50 new and I don't know where to buy it from

It's dead jim. You won't get anyone except for hypertryhards this far into a fighting game's lifespan

Try the free trial. It was a cool idea and pretty fun as far as simple fighters go. Execution wasn't the best as the phase shift system ruins the overall flow and punishes you for combos. The technical aspect of it on the Wii U really killed the game as there was no local battles unless you had two fucking Wii Us. The was barely any support to. Really a shame. A Pokemon fight was something that should've happened for years and instead we get Tekken-lite with forced Anime Arena modes.

Only if you plan on playing video games.

If you're into fighting games and enjoyed the trial you may as well

Yo, why is it still so expensive?

but where do I buy it from online
walmart target or best buy

Nintendo/Pokemon Company tax.

It's good, but definitely not worth that. I'd say it'd be worth around $20-25 if you like the gameplay, but it's a pokemon game so it'll keep selling and never drop any lower than 40 probably

it doesn't matter how much it's worth, it matters how much it's selling for

It's on sale digitally

I don't want it digitally

Well then you'll have to fork over basically retail price. I don't even know how well DX did, it might not even be in production anymore.

it's $8 more if I get it physically

is this game even good

Are you the guy who's been spamming "where to buy a cheap physical copy of pokken 4 switch" in every pokken thread

nigger are you retarded

>Lots of Pokemon fanservice
>Surprisingly deep combat
>Well balanced roster. Only a handful of characters are considered unviable, and even those are only B tier when everyone else are A or S tier
>Surprisingly active online despite being 3 years old at this point

It's a solid fighter when you get over the unusual presentation. The single player is barebones as fuck, however. If this were a $20 game I'd say it's an instant buy. But otherwise for $40 or $60, it's only worth it if you're really into Pokemon or really want a fighting game on the Switch

Kind of sad that this is pretty much the most balanced fighter on the market, but nobody cares about it.

>but I want it physically
then buy it

We're not your mom

I bought this game because I liked the idea of paizuri from a cute female pokemon. After almost 2 years I have still not received this. So no, I can't say you should buy it, I cannot recommend it.

okay you can all call me stupid now

It’s better balanced than Smash ever will be.

Just get it, dont listen to Zig Forumstards who hate every game unless its made by Nintendo.

There are plenty of people playing up to B Ranks still, especially now after the free trail. Ranks A and up is where it gets hard, but at that point youre probably a „pro” player on some discord server that knows everyone else who’s good.

It’s an old game at this point and its not called smash/SFV/tekken so player retention is naturally going to be shit

Have fun OP.

how about i call you based instead?
who's your main? i liked playing as gardevoir
though i only played the trial. I'm too shit to consider buying it

It's better than any Tekken game and Harada is too much of a fucking coward to make Pokken 2.
