How do we fix their gaming division?

I'm no console fag but Microsoft are actively been pro-consumer recently and I love it. The only people not benefiting from Microsoft's decisions are seething Snoys

Microsoft has never be, is nor will they ever be pro-consumer. Their tactic has always been EEE.

Reminder at the beginning of this gen they had microtransactions and digital currency up the ass in all their games

Gamepass is a fkn great and sharing exclusives with pc is pro consumer as fuck. You high?

this

Sony did too, the only reason why it stop was because Sony just stopped making MP games.

no they didnt

Bullshit they didn't. Hell, before you say TLOU2 it was only due to mp being held back.

sony published games werent infested with microtransactions and digital currency like microsoft's

What's so good about it for 120 freedom tockens yearly?

They have amazing potential to revolutionize consumer gaming hardware and the infrastructure / resources available to make cloud gaming a reality. They lack creativity or competent game developers though. It is very clear they are addressing that issue though purchasing all these dev studios lately. Only time will tell if that investment will pay off.

Yeah tha's true.

>99% of the world pirates Windows
>instead of actively going after them, they just give you a "this windows is not genuine" tattoo
>not pro consumer

Yes, they did you stupid fucker.

Everything Microsoft buy ends up being a failure. In fact, if Microsoft buys something you know it's going to fail within 5 years.

holy fucking BODIED

Imo it's a great idea for someone who wants to play a game just once without having to pay full price for it. There are a lot of great games out there with little replay value.

>Access to over 100 games for 120$
If you play more than 2 games, then you come out on top.

What about Minecraft?

Install Arch

Alright. 99% of the time.

>Uncharted 4
>The Last of Us
I never played either, how the fuck do those microtransactions even fit into the game? Aren't they singleplayer?

They have MP. Sony used to do MP games, and when they did, they were just as bad as MS, and in the case of UC4, even worse. They made UC4 P2W.

by shutting it down so sega can come back to replace them.

So this is a way to kill the used game market and you guys somehow claim it is good because... It gives Microsoft money? I can buy every single physical copies of used games that I can own and rip and preserve digitally and Gamepass only have a handful of games. Gamepass is actually anti-consumer and a straight up scam.

Cool metal gymnastics man, just enjoy video games and stop being such a seething faggot all the time

>sharing exclusives with pc is pro consumer as fuck
This. In an era where a certain company is spending tens of millions of dollars on exclusivity contracts, Microsoft has released framework for devs to release games on both console and PC with a single release. They've also gone out of their way to release their games on other platforms, like Steam. Their actions lately have actually been pretty stellar.

Yes, Microsoft are singlehandedly killing the used game market. It totally hasn't been at death's door for years with the industry wide shift to digital focus and GaaS.

>So this is a way to kill the used game market and you guys somehow claim it is good because...
...it's not sony. Zig Forums will happily embrace the digital-only, subscription-only, streaming-only, western-games-only future that microsoft wants for gaming - all because microsoft isn't the company that dethroned nintendo in the '90s.

>So this is a way to kill the used game market
If you mean, Kill gamestop, they no because Gamestop killed it self already. You do know you can buy still buy games used, right? You do know Amazon/Best Buy/ect still sell games, right? You do know you can buy games on the digital store, right?
>Gamepass only have a handful of games
According to the website, it currently has 376 games. I'd call that a little more than a handful.

The used game market is fine and dandy. Microsoft is trying to kill it with the Gamepass tho

and what are Sony doing with their cheaper, digital only version of the PS5?

>Zig Forums will happily embrace the digital-only
What are PC?
>subscription-only
What is Sega?
>streaming-only
What is Sony?
>western-games-only future that Microsoft wants for gaming
Same with Sony.
Its funny how you easily you can identify the people that are underage. Everything MS is doing isn't new. In fact, both Sony AND Nintendo tried streaming before the Xbox.

Yeah I'm gonna buy an xbox now, thanks user.
