How was the 3rd game?
I played 1 and loved it but never got around to the others because I heard 3 was a letdown and I didn't want to get invested.

kinda wish they expand it to 4x games or even RTS game
and yes, they should ditch flash and use something else.

2 is probably the best one you should play that too at least, 3 was kind of shit though because it was really short and you get more content for being worse at the game

Thanks for the reply, I'll give 2 a shot for the awesome marching shots if nothing else.

yeah, I used to take some screenshot and used it for WP, alas my HDD was dead.

It's not a ME3-tier letdown, but the conclusion doesn't feel as climactic as it should have been. It's a good game, but it's not fantastic, so to speak.

Also if you let your main character die in 3 you get a voice acted scene thats longer than the actual ending compared to living and get nothing

did anyone actually choose to play as rook over alette?

I REALLY wanted to play this but can't motivate myself. Do the choices really matter and is the story really good?

the choices dont change the overall story much they just make a small difference mostly but they can get some of your characters killed like you can get your main character killed in 3 if you dont do something in the first game

Looks like some norse larp incel bait

gay niggas

I played the first one and it was BORING.

what exactly gives you that impression

>but why does it feel like no one else played this
Because everyone that wanted to already did when it came out, nobody is going to wait for you zoomers before you grow up to have a discussion.

Anyway first 2 games good, third one is shit because the answer for everything happening was just another busted, boring and overused "love of two people".

what the fuck were they thinking?

It came out in 2014 how does not playing it then make you a zoomer

I did in my first playthrough. Never cared much about either, I liked only Varl characters and wanted to see if they will make it to the end. Rook felt more useful as an unit up to that point and I had no idea Alette is gonna get XCOM abuse.

12y to 18y

>destroys the world to save his gf
>tries to destroy half of the world to save his gf
he did everything wrong

What is this 'love of two people' trope?

still not as bad as oddlief trying to help the dredge even after murdering everyone they see

Didn't play 2 and 3, always tell myself it is time but then I postpone it.
I cried when Rook died though, literally only game that made me feel

I went in blind and had Alette use the arrow since I was hoping there would be some trusting in her growth over their journey payoff.

But that made sense, her husband died recently so she was trying to find something to fill that void. Notice how exited she's been acting around the horsemen. I guess they weren't enough for her so she jumped on first occasion to get that BDC

You are an absolute dumbass and simp if you had Rook die. Both character wise and combat wise he's one of the best units.

alette completely murders everything by herself rook is useless compared to her

Dont worry you can reunite them in the third game

Rook is the second biggest simp in the game though

Rook is a character, you are simp irl.
