Legends Legacy is coming in a year or two depending on whether they go straight there, divert towards spinoffs for Classic/X that they skipped over, or try for Battle Network next. I could see why they'd want to do it, in case someone looks up "Rob Smith" and sees the news. I doubt they'd ever put the effort into doing a new voice cast for the series, though.

If they redub Legends, they're gonna redub the whole fucking cast, and they're only going to do that if they're gauging interest in a Legends 3. Which they ain't fucking doing any time soon.

The amount of money required even for a high-end collection like Zero/ZX (Classic and X got fucking TRASH in comparison) is absolutely minuscule when placed next to developing an all new 2D Platformer in 2020. Fucking FORGET a 3D one in the HD landscape, holy shit, ports are goddamn pennies to platinum there.

PS, it wouldn't be "ZX3." ZXA was treated as a spinoff in Japan, to the point that the logo was entirely different with a huge emphasis on the "A". You'd be getting ZX[Subtitle] or ZXA[Subtitle]. And that's ignoring that ZXA closed all the threads it needed to while having an open ending that implied what came next. You're not getting closure for Prometheus and Pandora unless Capcom contracts IntiCreates for a sequel, and that's just not gonna happen. ZX3 is a stupid pipe dream.

A Battle Network 7 would be a bad idea for a number of reasons. A new Mega Man spinoff using the BN battle system would be cool, though.
