Just got this. What am I in for?
just pirated this, what am I in for?
this. what i'm an in for ?
hunting monsters
hundreds of hours of content
fun
a good game with loads of content.
not sure how you'll fare though because I don't think there's any people doing starter shit
The worst Monster Hunter game in history
a game that you will either love to death or drop within a week.
>still mad
The classic way will grant you hours of gameplay with added movesets from the DLC.
The Rush Through to the DLC armor will make it seem all too easy and then you find hitting a wall when the AI becomes merciless against you.
Early Iceborne is easy enough until Barioth. It's not the big of a leap.
MH veteran who's started playing it recently.
It's the easiest MH I've ever played until they got mad people kept telling them how easy it was so they just shoehorned in unfair bullshit like map-wide OHKOs. It's a bad MH and a bad game.
Also the maps are a fucking clusterfuck of mazes to the point where I almost considered giving up because of having to find bullshit in that fucking forest.
a very tedious game, but enjoyable if you're able to immerse yourself. Hopefully you'll have plenty of patience and spare time.
it's good for ~300 hours then its shit.
fuck health augment being locked behind guiding lands autism.
Good game, i didnt enjoy it as much as tri or 4u, but i enjoyed my time none the less. Havent played it since a few weeks after launch when i did pretty much everything there was to do
hope theres a lot more content now, it was a little barebones compared to 4u, and i really miss the 4u palico system
chin up nintendie im sure you'll get a switch port one day
pffft hehehe
>mfw I still haven't beaten alatreon
2000 hours of snu snu
the game that saved capcom.
This pretty much.
With Iceborne particularly you are guaranteed at least 300 hours of enjoyment if the Monster Hunter gameplay loop appeals to you but only the truly autistic will continue for more hundreds of hours just to grind rng decorations.
MH thread? MH thread.
How is this game as a beginner? Can I even get together with people or is it deserted until late game? Ive checked the reddit and discord but it seems geared more towards pros who have dumped hundreds of hours into the game and my friends dont wanna play
Double cross is still better but let's be real mhwi is great
I assume you hunt monsters across the world
Or you just watch cats cook, idk.
>he got filtered by Behemoth and Alatreon
cope you humongous faggot
You can summon people for help, but it'll just be endgame players smashing the monster in a minute mostly. You best bet is to find some new players or wait for a sale for an influx of new players.
The game is easier solo though. Monsters act predictable and your palico won't be a dead weight, assuming you try to get the right gadgets for it.
post set
A few hours of confusion until the gear treadmill clicks for you.
Then an autistic obsession with grinding builds.
Guess who carted.
I just started playing and all the lobbies are empty as fuck.
Depends on what weapon you start with
Try to look up weapon tutorials, trust me theres a lot going on with each weapon
Expect hammer, hit the monster in the head until dead, thats all you need to know for hammer
Gathering hubs ain't as important for general play when you have SoS. But for specific content they are well populated.
I got my ass kicked from Viper Kadachi all the way to rape ape. Jango was the one mon where I sat down and decided to learn how to beat solo without carting, now I hardly ever cart to anything at all. This monke showed me the ropes.
