If DICE wanted women in WW2 setting so bad, why wouldn't they use stories about Soviet snipers to justify their presence on the battlefield? It doesn't even matter if the stories about them were exaggerated, the fact is that they were fighting too. But for some reason they decided to go with not only something anti-historical, but cringy too.

You drop in the night before the Normandy invasion, link up with some resistance fighters, attack a small outpost, then slowly hit bigger and bigger targets as the allies advance until you finally wind up participating in some kind of massive battle alongside the regulars.
But yeah, Eastern front would have been the simplest and easiest. You can even have some Mongolians in the crew!

The entire point of shoving women into the games was to be ahistorical, to rewrite the past, to flex on people who don't like it but will buy it anyway because they can't control themselves and this hobby is the only thing they have left in clown world.
