Why did they have to give her such a retarded contrived death? The glassing radiation happened to short out their shields, and then there happened to be a Phantom with a sniper in it watching the exit of the tower (even though they already said when they were at the top of the tower that all covenant forces were retreating so that they could glass the area) that nobody noticed somehow that was perfectly positioned to shoot them in the back, and then decided to only shoot one of them and then to fly away even thought the needle rifle is automatic and they could have killed an entire squad of spartans.
