The Carrera GT was more than an eargasm in MW, it's a fucking screaming nightmare. It sticks out like a hot knife among the rest of the car audio, even the more identifiable ones, and there's that part in the career mode where the AI starts using Carreras when you haven't unlocked that tier of car yet and half the races are constantly checking the rearview to block them and hearing the REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE just off your back bumper.

Down force, cars with rear wheel drive get a push down to the rear wheels giving it more traction and hold it to the ground better

there's more to it than just slapping garish big aero pieces on a vehicle but a well designed aero package can make a huge difference. A youtube channel called kyle engineers did a lot of design work with some high quality videos on vehicle aerodynamics. even some flagship bikes come with aero nowadays
