No game has made me feel the same things OoT made me feel back in the day. But I 100% understand that that's just because I played OoT when I was a kid, and nothing will ever come close to giving me the same experience because I've played so many games since then that nothing truly feels new or exciting in the same way OoT did for me when I was 8.

OoT fans can be cultists but at least they have a genuine reason for adoring the game, whereas contrarians just shit on it because they are incapable of contextualizing the game and simply judge it by modern standards.

seriously? I remember being forced to do forest, water, and then fire temple before being able to decide to go to the light or dark temple but maybe Im wrong since the last I played it was on N64 as a kid
