what's the BEST experience you ever had in a videogame?
What's the BEST experience you ever had in a videogame?
finishing suikoden 3 with all the stars of destiny when I was 14
Hard to choose. Probably a sweat fest maddash in Red Orchestra 2 to win the game with seconds to spare and arty raining down on us with 0 tickets to spare or being the last survivor on a Left 4 Dead Expert versus and making a mad dash for the Heli on No Mercy
halo 3 big team battle with a mic
Beating Legend of Legaia.
playing melee, goldeneye, and oot with my cousins during christmas
Climbing the wall I'm Rain World.
taking turns on modern warfare 2 with the boys. or halo lans with the boys a few years before that
the best
League of legends, maybe 4 years ago
it was a summer pool party event and for the first time all my friends were playing the same game, you got more IP for playing as a 5 man team so we played all day long for the entire event.
Now league is shit and my friend group fell apart.
Hard to pick. Portal 2 ending was memorable, but experiencing for the first time Hellblade left quite an impression.
good question... probably my first playthrough of mgs3 when it came out.
Halo reach custom games with the boys
Destiny 1 vault of glass at midnight/early AM. Flawless during opening week of trials.
BotW for the first time
Pokemon with friends as a kid. I just can't seem to find cool people like I did way back. Everyone is either shit or way too serious. Just hard to get people online.
Playing Disco Elysium.
Never related to something so much in my life; felt like a game i made specifically for myself to play.
dueling tesshin kurou in way of the samurai 1 after you leave his family compund at night. that whole scene was to fun and intense.
it's great but still keep your expectations in check
Honestly Far Cry Blood Dragon. I really dig that retro outrun vibe shit. Fuck man the music was great, the atmosphere was awesome, you could throw suirkens a D-20 dice. Each main story mission was just insanely better than the last. the fact you ride a blood dragon with lazers attached that can talk to you via computer was just too much. Plus it was a real short game, never got tired of it and always easy to repick up. Fuck I wish I liked other FarCrys as much as that one
Press jump to jump.
I feel like Halo LANs were the peak of gaming. Its never matched up to that feeling after a match and just getting hyped with the bros about our stupid plays.
Pokémon as a kid in third grade.
Playing Star Wars: shadow of the empire all night with my best friend.
Red Alert 2 with my brother.
More recently, Mario 3D world with my wife was tons of fun. Also really enjoyed breath of the wild.
Dota, with friends when everything clicks it's awesome
ace combat 7, sol squadron and daredevil makes it kino
dmc 3, duel with vergil
yea shitting on your friends and yelling at them from the next room was as good as it gets lol. i just wish we did it more often
The first time i saw intro to Soul Reaver
Somehow filling up BRs in Anarchy Reigns after release and coming in first many times. The best part was a guy actually REEEE'd and said 'KILL THAT STUPID FUCKING BITCH', referring to me since I would kill steal as Sasha and, when it was safe, I'd do her loops on people.
an international student/classmate recommended me Titanfall 2 (this was in 2017). he would talk about it every time we met, and it wasn't a year later that I purchased it... and damn, the campaign and mulitplayer was fucking good. not a fan of the pilots vs pilots, I only plat Titan Brawl, and getting kills with scorch is so fucking satisfying.
Witcher 3 literally changed my life
bayo1's prologue where they throw you right into the action with no single tutorial yet, getting your ass handed to the fucking main bosses of the game while a narrator fills you in about the umbran/lumen war.
hearing again one of a kind right at the end of the jubileus fight, with jeanne and bayonetta reenacting the prologue but this time in space
When I pressed the button and the guy did the thing
In kcd, when you escape vranik, I forced myself through the pike wall instead of just going to the shit heap. The fall was enough to trigger ragdoll, so I slid down the hill for about a minute. Literally no green left in the bar when I recovered.
>tfw I had to stop playing it because it was hitting too hard in the feels
>tfw now I feel better but I fear that I'm not ready for it yet
Depression a bitch
