Some quick tips: Stand a bit back from fairies when you're cutting them, lest you get a sudden faceful of danmaku.

If a boss turns invincible for no apparent reason, use the sword wave/back special. Why does this work? I dunno!

If you crash on the final level at a certain point, it's probably because of the pinky replacements spawning a bunch of objects as part of their death animation. Reduce their numbers before killing the boss

The game sometimes spawns orbs on top of you, forcing you to pick them up when you move. You can save these for later by jumping above them instead of walking.

Save your spell cards for when Raymoo shows up, because she will push your shit in.

Use the sword's altfire on bosses if you want to cheese them.

Once you're in hell, there's a secret challenge in every stage.

Enjoy, it's a fun ride. Damn well made mapset and Demonsteele fits in perfectly with both the aesthetic and gameplay (though it's easy to cheese many of the bosses since you can cut down bullets).

Struggle. Lovely level design here. I've been feeling the pull to get back into Hideous Destructor lately, I pretty much played it for two years straight starting in 2018.
Any Doom Eternal thoughts if you tried it? I thought it was alright.

Yeah it's pretty disappointing. The wad itself was literally perfect. Challenging, great level design, dripping wet with that mood and aesthetic, that fucking ending. My god.

Recommend me good megawads bros. All I've got since my hard drive failure is Valiant and Speed of Doom.

I had fun with the standalone for a bit because of the unlockables but it got old fast. I've never actually played the original wad.

What in the fuck? ANY other horror wad would probably fit this better.

What little of this I was able to play was good, but man, I couldn't get through this without some game breaking bug stopping me dead in my tracks

I'm new to Doom wadding (seriously) so after I finished all the commercial Doom games I started with Scythe and am now playing Scythe 2.

Map 30 of Scythe was the first one I couldn't finish on UV100% pistol start and no saves
