All the talent left as soon as Microsoft bought them and inherited their debt. Honestly the ones who stayed at Rare after the Microsoft purchase are a bunch of suckers. They got steady work, but making shit with no appeal. And as the years went by even those talent lacking employees left as well. Rare basically lost a chunk of talent once purchased and then as the years passed lost even more which is how Playtonic came about. Rare simply is trash right now. Hope they continue to fail and that Microsoft does to them the same thing that Konami did to Hudson Soft (they basically got liquidated and absorbed fully into Konami).
