How come I got so tired of dark souls 3 when I love dark souls 1 so much?
Because you're a fucking NEET who is riding off of nostalgia instead of gameplay.
there should really have been a stage that connects the wall to the settlement
dark souls 1 is much easier than DS3 whereas some bosses in DS3 are borderline chores because of how long they are (friede, nameless king, midir)
The only DS1 boss that gives me as much trouble as the average DS3 boss does is Manus
I don't know, people say it's just your first game that you love so much, but I also like Bloodborne more than all the dark souls games, so there has to be something up with 2 and 3.
Dark Souls 1 is slower and more casual
bloodborne is more casual friendly especially with firearms
i sit true that if gwyndolyn was alive he'd help us
Gwyndolin couldn't even help himself
that's my point exactly
because most of the environments start to blend together, most of the game is just gothic castles without any of gimmicks to make them interesting like sens or the pillars in anor lando
it had more of the not fun areas than fun ones, over half the game was swamps and anor londo clones.
I really love that the DLC added two swamps in a single level, who the fuck even enjoys swamp levels I don't get why they keep adding them
I love this skinny little heretic like you wouldn't believe!
Sekiro > Bloodborne > Dark Souls > Dark Souls 3 > Demon's Souls > Dark Souls 2
>nooo! fuck swamps!!! I don't want to go on a journey and prepare in advance with the right items to overcome hazards!!! What do you mean this is an action ROLE PLAYING game?
That's not a single level the ringed city is separate from the dreg heap swamp
This isn't Valley of Defilement in which lotuses were actually necessary. You can just power through all the swamps with estus. I'm doing my first run through the Ringed City now. Haven't used moss once throughout the whole game.
Swamps aren't threatening, they're just annoying.
>Swamps aren't threatening, they're just annoying.
Haven't played Sekiro but agree with everything else.
Is Sekiro really THAT good?
fuck off shrek
High Wall is the worst starting zone in the soulsborne series.
its not
in all reality its probably just in par with ds2
the game is extremely gimped, no rpg elements whatsoever
>yfw they made this game basically in two years while being busy with Sekiro AND Bloodborne AAAND Déraciné
Yes, it is phenomenal. It is the only From Software game that feels finished, without cut content or clearly rushed zones that could have used some improvements. It gets a lot of hate by posers who use summons and overlevel their stats/items in Souls games so they can beat bosses, these losers are just salty they got filtered. Sekiro isn't even that difficult, you have no stamina and can do a lot really fast, but these losers can't adapt and still think it is a souls game, don't take them serious. Play Sekiro for yourself and make up your own mind.
It is an action-adventure game, not an action-RPG. If RPG elements are an absolute must for you, then wait for Elden Ring.
I never got the Souls vibe from that game, was it because it was just made by From? God can you just imagine if they made Armored Core this day?
I like swamps. Elden Ring should have a swamp area too.
>Sekiro is bad because it's an action game and not an rpg
Based retard.
The boss fights, the level design, the aesthetics all scream From Software/Souls to me, it just doesn't have the traditional Souls armor and wepaon variety. As for Armored Core, From Software already confirmed that the next game after Elden Ring will be Armored Core.
Reboot of an old franchise = Sekiro (started out as a Tenchu reboot).
New Dark Fantasy ARPG = Elden Ring
New Mech Game = Armored Core 6

SWAMPS
Irony is that you're the consoomer that thinks shit like the glowing sea is some difficult hazardous LOTR type shit.
ehh I suppose, honestly the graphics feel Nioh-y to me.
>mecha moves in different directions
>soulsfags go "WHOA WHAT?"
God its refreshing to see some real actual takes for once instead of cunts riding on their nostalgia and contriarism.
90% of the developers are on my blacklist, I am not a consoomer. I enjoy proper games and From Software is one of the few developers that has my trust, even when they fail miserably and shit out an abortion of that was stitched together at the last second, like Dark Souls 2, it still ends up being an enjoyable product.
Swamp areas are an indicator of good game design in an action-RPG, so is Tomb of the Giants. From Software should include more areas like this in Elden Ring.
