embarassing post
Death stranding thread?
terrible bait, 1/10
Doubt you even own the game much less done any research because you would know there are enemies and combat in this game faggot
Why this game is so fucking good but only for certain type of players and I didn't know I was one of them?
cause it's at its core an artistic game, made by someone that gives no fuck about what normies think and just made a game for himself.
It's an autistically detailed walking simulator with a pompous and cheesy story and amazing player expression.
So of course most people, especially adhd spaz would hate it, but even removing them, it's still a niche game that had a tripleA budget and marketing, so many normies flocked to it, got filtered and complained.
I'm just happy we got a game as unique as this and that i was able to love it
>Kojima shits out one complete blunder after the other for a decade since when he found his studio, Kojimaproduction, up to 2015
>Publicy claim he is calling it quits with the franchise several times just to force Konami's hands and get a bigger paycheck everytime because of senseless cult of personality of the mgs fanbase.
>Culminating his career at Konami with an unfinished game that surpassed 80 million dollars of budget and 5 years of development, and a mess of a storyline.
>It's also a worse Far Cry with somehow worse shooting, no real weapons and pointless shit online and grind/base management tackled on
>B-b-but you don't get it, he never wanted to make those games, evil Konami FORCED HIM to work on those games.
>Let's ignore that he has been vice president of Konami for this whole time
>Advertise a new game as some horror action post apocalyptic third person game
>Starting to look like a delivery sim the more news come in
>Shills in full force yelling how it's totally NOT a walking simulator
>Turns out it really is
>A-akthually yes, but y-you just want another COD...g-g-go back to Fortnite...
>Not even breaking 3 million copies on console after 8 months
>Delivery simulator with literally no physics for vehicles, the best tactic is literally Skyrim horse your way to the objective with the bike.
>Somehow he can't spare some of its dozens and dozens and dozens of millions he wasted for Normie Fetus ugly (and mostly mute) mug for giving the total of 3 vehicles you get to drive something open world games had 2 decades ago.
>"B-but art, you just don't get it *Take a sip of Monster Energy Drink™*
>Literal AA sales figures, 700k copies sold on Steam at launch
>Complete silence on sales for more than half a year
>Kojima humiliating himself insisting proudly how 8+ months after release his "magnum opus", the masterpiece he put so much passion into after being free from the shackles of evil Konami, broke even.
Huh, guess that's an alright way to put it. It also feels like it has many systems in place what different types of players are enjoying if it makes any sense. My friend skipped all the BT encounters and camps and took hundreds of screenshots while trekking but I went full nuclear on enemies and pillaged the mats from camps and ruins. It has a weird mix of stealth/action mgs style gameplay and cohesive traveling mechanics, collectibles, material gathering, infrastructure building and "jolly cooperating" and you can kinda play the way you personally enjoy, even though it's a delivery quest game from the outside
>autistically detailed
>Shit AI
>Shit boss fights
>No vehicle physics
Nah, it's just retarded
>Shit boss fights
confirmed for having played on journalist difficulty
pclets are notorious cheaters who are afraid of challenges, of course they love some shitty walking sim.
If AI and physics were super realistic wouldn't the game be boring to fuck around?
You're not fooling anyone, aim assist.
Bait. There's multiple game-over screens buddy
Despite playing games for 20 years I don't get a sense of accomplishment from them and don't really care.
So I was happy the game was easy to play and if wasn't a shooter.
I can totally see why others would consider it boring.
pretty obvious that you haven't played the game or even watched more than 5 minutes of it lmao. truly embarrassing
It's no masterpiece. But even with some flaws it's quite interesting. Way more enjoyable than your standarized ubisoft/farcry 3 clone.
The sad thing is only 9% of players have finished it.
>no enemies, no combat, and no failstate
It has all of these things
Take ur bi polar meds bro idc about ur manic episode I enjoyed the game whu
But it does have enemies and combat, OP.
That said, combat and stealth feel kind of sloppy compared to the much tighter MGSV, and I think the game might actually have been better without either.
I really enjoy making plans of routes, taking into account stuff like Timefall/BTs/MULEs and the terrain in general.
I'm on Deadman's chapter, and having to plan around the new limitations introduced there is interesting.
>I didnt play this game
>Gonna offer my opinion anyway
Lmoa sage retard
I kind of understand the whole "americans only play fps" statement from Kojima, i don't think this game is experimental at all, it follows the classic game design rules, pepople can't get into it only because it's different, GTA IV was a point A point B driving simulator without anything happening in between and was loved, this game makes the trip entertainment but people see it as boring anyway, idk people are weird
Has anyone else been getting strange access violation crashes? They seem to happen for no rhyme or reason. I already updated my gpu drivers, so it's not that
I kept getting crashes and a weird error, a post I found on google got me to go into windows settings and set it as a high performance program, havent had it since.
Maybe google it user
Huh, interesting, that hasn't come up in what research I've done. Ill try it out
I solved it reinstalling windows
I was really into it for a while but it’s been about a month since I last touched it now. Made to maybe a bit further than the heart attack guy’s chapter and it feels like the game has nothing new to offer at this point. Delivering packages is boring now.
Fact: the mechanics of this delivery simulator would be significantly better in a game that's not directed by someone who desperately wants to make movies and cinematics experiences, and were instead in a freeform merccntile management game.
fuck me how is this still not cracked yet
It's kinda pointless offline
t. 90% piratefag
It’s been almost a year, RDR2 is still haven’t been cracked yet, so as RE3, this’ll probably take forever too.
steam sale it is then
not going to pay £55 for a walking sim.
The rest of the game is mostly a series of fairly linear action and story setpieces. If you're invested in the story, keep going, if you aren't, the game's not really gonna add anything more to the core gameplay outside of one extra hard delivery that basically makes for the final stretch of gameplay.
