gamecube isnt retro

it isn't retro. and the price is pretty much the retail price if you count in the inflation

Spotted the defensive /vr/ shitter. Crawl back to your board in shame.

The real world doesn't abide by the retarded standards declared by the dipshits on /vr/

Westeners are just fucking stupid.
The retro market is great in japan because there are no retarded westerners.

>BRO I LOOOOVE OLDSCHOOL MARIO DUDE ITS SO CLASSIC
>BRO I WANNA BUY A DREAMCAST WHAT GAMES DOES IT HAVE? I DON'T KNOW LOL I JUST WANT THE GAME CASES FOR AESTHETIC PURPOSES
>DUDE CHECK OUT MY AKIRA AND GHOST IN THE SHELL POSTER
NORMALFAGS STAY AWAY FROM OUR HOBBIES REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

The 80s were retro in the 90s, the 2000s are retro in the 2020s

No one has bought it, dumbfuck

Why do Americans do this?

It's kinda dishonest to keep reposting this shit when there's other listings with lower prices

lol these morons are out of their fucking minds
I love how they have to inflate the price to ridiculous level and label it as *RARE* just because it's an old game, even if that game was common as dirt when it was being manufactured and still is

you think americans are bad? just look at fucking australians

go back to kindergarten zoomies

Yeah, Australia is shit. I only have two GameCube games because of it. But the RE4 came with the documentary at least. So we get the best special edition for it.

before the pandemic I thought prices were a bit too high but not unreasonable but gamecube games specifically have gone fucking insane recently
great quality + low-selling is a great combo for being able to resell for way too much

I didnt buy ttyd in 2014 because it was already overpriced back then
now it costs like twice as much lmao

so TrumpBucks did this

which Wii/DS games should I buy before they go up in price in around 5 years?

chrono trigger, ghost trick, Kirby games for Wii

chrono trigger ds is already 50bucks

how does this grading even work?
>some scuff marks in the corner..yea thats an 8/10

>go to japan
>buy retro game in store, boxed, sealed, 500 yen (around $5)
>try to buy any retro game in australia
Why is this?

What the hell, I remember picked it from the sell for 15 bucks not long ago.

People are stuck on nostalgia

Honestly, why? I got my copy of sunshine at my local thrift market for just 30 bucks

This isn't /vr/. No one cares.

>be a 21 year old zoomer
>tell my dad in 2007 that I don't want any ps3 games for christmas, I want gamecube games
>"but son they're old, why do you want them? lets get you Wall-E on PS3"
>NO DAD I WANT FUCKING PAPER MARIO THE THOUSAND YEAR DOOR THESE NEW GAMES SUCK
>current day
>everyone's gone fucking stupid and have priced all their gamecube games above $100 when my dad could have gotten them for me for $10 when I was 8
God FUCKING damn it.

Japan has always had a market for retro games and shops like Book Off for ease of selling them which means they're still in circulation rather than having been thrown away by their owners or retailers?

There's so many 6th gen games I wanted as a kid and never pulled the trigger when I really should have.
I remember Project Justice being $70 when I was in middle school in 2013 or so. I never bought it because I thought my parents wouldn't let me get an old game that was that expensive.
Come 2018, finally finished high school and had the money to buy it for myself and it was now double the price it was when I was a kid. Honestly glad I still decided to buy it because now it's even fucking higher.

Fuck this shit. Having rare or expensive games is only cool if you bought them when they were dirt cheap with no idea that they'd get so pricy. I don't want everything to get this massively overpriced.
