"Shoot to wound, then execute the wounded" is shit warfare strategy though. You are supposed to maim your opponents and then allow them to be taken to the medics so your enemy expends resources on trying to save people who can't fight anymore anyway.

Retarded fucking Ubisoft went all Mass Effect 2 on this game. Stripped away all the good ideas, and overdeveloped all the unfinished ideas into shit.
-Stealth was undercooked, so they overdid it and made it overpowered
-Fire worked extremely well but had some arbitrary limitations, so they made it work worse and made the limitations worse
-Resources worked in a stupid way, so they kept the stupid way of using resources but gave you too much of it
-Outpost clearing was pointless because of instant respawn, so they disabled all respawn and basically made all opposition and challenge finite
-Predator animals were lacking, so they added way too many of them
-There were too few forms of silent attacks, so they added too many ways by letting you put silencers on everything, no matter how powerful and un-silencable
-Useful feedback was lacking, so they gave up instantly and added overpowered tracking and minimap

We'll never get the good game that's half Far Cry 2 and half Far Cry 3.

Redux 3.0 and a reshade

Redux fixes some core gameplay flaws with lots of QoL improvements and most reshades remove the piss filter

This is a known bug introduced by patch 1.03. Ubisoft never fixed it, just like they never fixed the AI bugs they introduced to Far Cry 1 in 1.04.
