No, simply because I don't buy them.
And ambient lightning on monitors is pretty good btw.
it's a more cost-effective method for selling a product that can be accented in any colour. Instead of having to make six or seven skus of a product you can just sell one with the ability for the customer to customize it.
because differentiating between different pc parts is hard so people just choose the one with the pretty colors
>Don't they disturb you while gaming?
you set them to help the mood.
>tfw I'm still stuck on the 2010 no bling pc era because poor.
Wonder how far I can stretch my i7 920
This.
I built my first PC 2 years ago and nothing has RGB.
I bought that mic because it's a pretty good deal for ~$100, the light is obnoxious though
I got my Razer keyboard set up wih Aurora as a screen visualizer so the picture is reflected on my keyboard. There's also other lighting indicators like an audio visualizer in the top row and different color "lock" keys.
I just wish the Razer software wasn't so heavyweight and wouldn't break from time to time.
What's a good RGB manufacurer with Aurora compatibility that has less intrusive software?

Clever marketing to get people to pay 200$ for fans and double the price for parts that light up. I can understand having one light within the case to see inside, but holy fuck, rbg cables, ram, processors with mini screens, rbg fans, light strips. 2000$ night lights.
I only have a small lamp besides my bed cause I'm scared of the dark, also my mouse lights up too and it's kinda comfy but it's not strong enough to fend of the darkness by itself
My IBM keyboard still works
My rainbow setting is for when I'm not gaming.
I set it to a pink colour when its game time.
The only thing that does distract me is when a game has settings for it, like kf2. Makes it red and it flashes, really annoying
I'm terrified of the dark too. Can't live in a house alone, restricted to single floor dwellings.
Where is the dragon dildo and estrogen pills?
>why yes i put 15 teraflops of raw power into a 2008 30 dollar Dell case how could you tell?
What lamp do you have?
that's why I own a cherry brand keyboard
feels nice and doesn't look garish
>rainbow
no
>static color
the chad choice
I forgot the name of that finnish program this picture was from.
Fat fuck was living in his own cigarette ashes and dust.
>try to buy a new keyboard or a cheap headset
>can't find anything without RGB
Fucking zoomers
idk my new cooler came with it so whatever might sound like a kid but i like that i can change the colors of it
Zooms REALLY like RGB for some reason. I assume it's because they're all faggots.
I only use a rainbow colored mouse and the lights are blocked by my hack while I hold it, so eh.
gay rights
buying bright flashy computer shit is the best way to ensure you'll die a virgin
i don't need rgbs for that
I like a little light in my case just so I can see that all my fans are running properly.
Streamers are leading a lot of consolefags into their first PC, and as kiddos they like kiddie things like flashing lights and case cosmetics.

Like Azn ricers, it's a phase they'll eventually grow out of. I've never seen a 40 year old driving a car with an anime wrap.
Keyboard is useful but everything else is not only worthless, it just drains additional power for nothing. I'm already annoyed by the tiny blue LEDs they add to everything now that manage to light up the whole fucking room if you forget to turn your speakers or whatever off for the night, can't even imagine having actual light setup. What happened to the red LEDs? They weren't nearly as annoying.
Having to have a window or lights just says you aren't confident in your build or ability to detect problems via software. It's a shame I would hide if I had it.
Illuminated keyboards are nice when its late and I'm kind of drunk.
Streamers
It's nice for keyboard and mouse but not for headsets.
Not everyone games during day hours.
RGB is a zoomer fad, nothing more.
That's probably because autistic weebs aren't really in that age bracket yet. Give it some time.
