>Logitech's new racing wheel costs as much as a fucking console
>All others are either unrealistic shit or $1000+
>Driving with controller/keyboard is garbage
>You will never experience car racing without either spending a fortune on peripherals or doing it IRL and risking your life in the process
It hurts, why are male hobbies so unaffordable?
Logitech's new racing wheel costs as much as a fucking console
I got a g920 on sale a while ago
Driving jim clark's lotus 49 is a pretty amazing experience
i'm patiently biding my time and saving my money so i can get a wheel and pedals along with a VR setup
I just wish there was a better and easier way to set up gears. Gearbox mounted at table height feels like trash and they are way too small to get that good shifting feel
How does it feel, user? You got the stick shift for it too?
Of course
Although no game recognizes the push down to reverse gear so I have to put it in neutral and hold the flappy paddle to go into reverse
Still fun though
Where my g25 Chads at
Just get a used G27. They're mechanically identical to the "new" logitech wheels save for having non-retarded brake pedals and a different angle sensor
>Buying used shit in the year of our lord, age of corona
For the price of the PC and the simulator hardware you could buy a shitbox user.
like nigga get a pack of lysol wipes
Doing that is like fucking a one night stand without a condom, one week later you'll be panicking about "What if I got AIDS and don't even know it yet?"
What
yeah bro those pesky rona viruses are nesting deep inside the gears. then when you're having fun and let your guard down doing the dorifto, that's when they get you
>All others are either unrealistic shit or $1000+
I got an entire fanatec CSL setup with stand in mint condition for 300 bucks
You're just doing it wrong and expect logitech to not charge full retail price for a design they've stopped improving 15 years ago
>yeah bro those pesky rona viruses are nesting deep inside the gears
Actually for me to have complete peace of mind I always disassemble everything I buy used and wash with soap and water, alcohol for electronics. If you don't do this you're a disgusting degenerate.
logiquakes are braindead simple to disassemble
lol germophile.
Only reason I crack open used shit is to blow any dust out.
Gonna get this for some sick NfS
Nigga have you ever taken apart a used controller? Do you have any idea how much dead skin gets stuck between the shell halves and buttons and what not, especially for older ones? It's fucking disgusting.
>dusting
yes
>autistically desinfecting everything
hell no, are you licking your stuff or something bro?
you do know chinks put their hands all over your ""new"" products too, right? not just for assembly but for qa testing too, the latter having so few standards you're bound to at least have touched a bit of solidified chink spit or chink blood by just consooming normally
not to say anything about cars with how they get test driven like a town bicycle, console controllers, keyboards and phones
Blow it out and reassemble. The fuck are you alcohol wiping the circuit board down for lmao
>Not going all the way while you're at it already, just to ensure it works for a longer time
wtf?
Fuck.
>she thinks scrubbing a circuit board makes it live longer
lmao do you also pray to the machine god while you're at it you fucking schizo
I bet you don't even individually lube each switch for your keyboard.
I am not afflicted with crippling OCD, no.
What's wrong with you
Why does logitech like putting those pieces of rubber under the brake pedal? I get that it simulates tension but they're way too fucking stiff and the brake is already the stiffest pedal out of the 3
I'd say not having OCD is the opposite of wrong, lad.
How do you think real pedals work, user? You don't expect to floor them by blowing on them do you?
>racing games
They already have stiff springs in them though
>Not playing racing games
