>Every villain needs a sympathetic backstory

fuck off some people are just bad

>Every villain needs a sympathetic backstory
Ironically Adachi has one. He was working his ass off and trying to get the best grades only to get shafted.

looks based to me

That's just him making excuses, you're not supposed to feel bad for him.

I'll take it over another case of "villain dindo nuffin wrong"

Like who. Literally name anyone irl who's just bad to the bone for no fucking reason other than they just looooove evil

the entire CIA

He's right on a lot of points retard. None of it excuses him for committing murder but that doesnt make him wrong either

Pic unrelated

>Villain gives reasons for his mindset and actions
>Good guys just say no ur wrong and beat him with the power of friendship
P4s ending sucks dick

Literally take your pick of anyone using this site. Adachi became a nihilistic, pessimistic shithead for the same reason why most people here have become seething incels.

Seems contrived that he's bothered by not climbing his job's ladder but originally only getting into the police so he could have a gun

This.
Hazama is the perfect way to do a pure evil villain

"villain"

thats not the point of adachi at all. the game is about nihlism, and two ways to react to it. the main characters decide to attempt to create their own meaning, whereas adachi's point of view is that any meaning you can create yourself is fake.

he attempts to shatter the meaning the characters create to prove that his ideology is right, but is instead overwhelmed by the protagonists. this doesn't really disprove or prove anything in terms of the value of meaning itself, more of the productive value of self determination.

adachi waits his whole life waiting to be saved, and never gets saved. the people he kills are his reaction, him trying to push the universe into creating a savior. through his actions in some ways he fosters the creation of a group of saviors, but ironically he is the only one they wont save.

>Adachi tells them what he went through and how he was kicked out of the height of success and how nobody gives a fuck about anything
>a bunch of teenage brats, all of them set for life, two of them even talented superstars call him a child and beat him up
Im not sympathising with Adachi but literally everything the team says to him before the fight absolutely reeks of hypocrisy

Having a sad backstory doesn't make him any less wrong for literally everything he did

I still remember the part right before you fight Adachi where Yukiko says some shit like "Not wanting to live but not wanting to die sounds retarded, lmao grow up." The game is literally shoving it in your face how naive the main cast really is.

Test

But user, he did nothing wrong

The Night Stalker

These lovely gentlemen.

Don't overanalyze it, its not that deep.

I'm volcel though. I'm too introverted and afraid of rejection to attempt any dating.

Psychopaths exist in real life, just for your information. One doesn't need to be traumatized or have a sad life to be psycho. Plenty of real life examples of psychos who had a perfectly fine childhoods, yet they were harming others just because they could and enjoyed the act.

Those people arent real.

no, u arent real

>villain is realistic

Adachi wasn't a psychopath. He was sociopathic, but even he had reasons for becoming who he was.

have you READ the news for the past four years?
