the joker parts and the bane fights are pretty embarrassing but i overall enjoyed it. i think they shouldve gone for a darker murder mystery instead or a straight-forward plot about surviving christmas while constantly being ambushed by villains.

I agree, the map in city was pretty compact and you could easily travel, the bridge ruins the pacing, thats why they added the fast travel system (wich is basically a band aid fix)

There's only one genuinely shit Arkham game and that's VR - I still have no idea what the hell they were thinking with that one.

It was the first AAA game I played on my very first rig, so I might be biased, but this is one of my favorite games.

I mean,at least they are better than asylum "bosses" wich included Bane, two reskinned Banes, reskinned Bane, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, Two more Reskinned Banes and Joker-Bane
and I'm not sure if Killer Croc really counts as a boss

they got less that 2 years to make it and they ended up creating one of the comfiest Christmas games out there

Knight > Origins > Asylum > City

The problem with Origins are three things: on the PS3 it was a different team that ported it (like Knight on PC) and it was pretty shit so the game got slated in reviews.
There are two valid complaints about the gameplay: locking some of the upgrades behind things only available late game, like the move to destory weapons is annoying in combat. The gun hook thing you got from Deathstroke breaks stealth mode and you just use it for ranged knockouts without the enemy knowing anything

All in all it was better than City since City just put as much as possible in without logic. The story is the weakest and was "reeee look more batman villains! Makes no sense but reeeee!"
Asylum is just bad because it's 100% linear but it's stil much better than "batman: bloat edition"

the only thing anyone knows is the devs (WB Montreal) who made Origins are doing a new Batman game, supposedly. Rockstar, the devs who did the first 3 batman games, are working on something else. There was a ridiculous "leak" that suggested this was a Suicide Squad game that sounded like it may have been MP. but there's been nothing official. WB Montreal has dropped a number of teasers on their social media but who tf knows what any of that means.
