Can't believe we got 3 excellent samurai games this gen, one made by non japanese people. Feels reat to be a weeb this generation.
Nioh 2 is a pile of shit. Both Sekiro and Ghost are great for different reasons.
Sekiro = GoT >>>>>>>>> Diablo 3 >>>>> Dark Souls 2 > literal shit >>>>> Nioh 2
worthless
Yeah Nioh 1.5 is definetely worthless.
Swap that = for a >
Ghost is better than Nioh imo
I returned to Nioh 2 after the DLC came out and frankly, the combat is just far more satisfying than in Sekiro or GoT. Sekiro/GoT do have more engaging worlds, and GoT better satisfies the exploration itch.
Cringe
Agreed.
Only one of them is excellent the rest is trash
sekiro is literally a shinobi, pretty different from a samurai...
Here comes a new challenger
weeb ranking
Ghost is definitely better than nioh trash
ching chong
Why are you even comparing these 3
One is an action rpg
One is a dungeon crawler
One is a farcry clone with AC combat
Based and true.
so what
We might as well ask:
Which one is better, Zelda OOT, Halo 2 or Uncharted.
>all three are about samurai or ronin
>"why are you comparing these 3?"
also, the genres you mentioned for sekiro and nioh 2 don't represent the games at all.
>The genres you mentioned for sekiro and nioh 2 don't represent the games at all
Then give them a better representation, i wait.
for starters, nioh 2 is closer to being an action-rpg than sekiro. there are no "dungeons" in nioh 2 to begin with, and the only reason why you may mislabel it as one is because of the Diablo-esque, stat-focused loot.
i don't even think anyone would even try to call sekiro an action-rpg, because it's really just an action game.
Cringe.
>Nioh 2
How's 1?
you didn't even play the games, what a retard
All of you claiming nioh 2 is shit are unironically retarded, and likely got filtered by the first boss.
Put nioh 2 before sekiro and we're in agreement.
Every mission is basically a dungeon. Only difference is that you use menus instead of entering them in an actual open world.
>i don't even think anyone would even try to call sekiro an action-rpg, because it's really just an action game.
Role playing game, the very definition of players assuming the roles of characters in a fictional setting. You say this wouldn't fit sekiro?
"Action game" is basically any game with any sort of combat.
People are sleeping on this and Godfall too
i platinumed all 3 bitch, i bet you only touched one of them
why do historical asian based games get made 100000 times a year but we never get a true game set in native america? the closest we get is shit like Ass Creed 4 and Red Dead 2, both of which are token indian appearances at best
i dont give a fuck about playing feudal japan for the 1000000000000000000th time, i want to scalp some whiteys
Nioh 2 won the samuraibowl.
>platinums them
>somehow still gets the genres wrong
imagine being this retarded fucking lmao
This but the exact opposite
Suckiro made soulsgoobers think they’re fucking geniuses for memorizing simple patters when they’re used to mashing circle through every single threat, but at the end of the day, the ideal dps STILL boils down to whaling on the R1 button like a fucking retard. Would be #1 if it had any real moveset variety beyond wonky gimmick arts that use consumables for whatever dumbass reason
overall worse than nioh 2, but really just mostly the same shit. there are a few bosses in nioh that are essentially just them spamming attacks, meaning unless you cheese them, your best offense is just to attack during all their small openings. overall, i'd say the bosses nioh 2 are far better.
aside from that, some minor improvements on the gameplay mostly for convenience and the graphics may look a bit better, but everything else is mostly the same, lazy shit. not to say that it's bad, because it definitely works for a lot of people as a sort of min-maxing game.
arguing semantics is pointless. in the case of what you're saying, every single video game that isn't a biography fits that definition of RPG, and it shouldn't take more than a second to realize that no one considers it that way.
Nobody cares about nu-world """""history""""".
asscreed and red dead overrepresented it with 5 games
native america is fucking boring and not even americans want to play that, see everyone disliking asscreed 3
>trannysoftware above anything
yikes
Which is what is so funny to me. People complaining that nioh 2 is more of nioh 1, which is entirely the goal of a sequel, to expand on the original and improve it while keeping the feeling and style of the previous game. Nioh 2 is an improvement on nioh 1 in almost every single way, which is the aim in a sequel.
>sekiro
>samurai
>this game is easy, all you do is press buttons to attack!
what, do you need a USB vibrator up your ass that you have to clench on to attack? is that hardcore enough for you?
OOT>Halo 2>uncharted
Fucking retarded brainlet.
>I can’t compare different VIDEO GAMES because I don’t know how to critically think
Those people just disagree with you that the game evolved enough between 1 and 2. The semantics argument is irrelevant.
Atleast i played the games instead of watching gameplay clips on youtube, or worse twitch streamers. Go back to your mothers womb you incel
This is the most braindead, reductive, lame excuse of an argument I’ve read all year
>talks about critically thinking when he can't appreciate different kind of art forms and seperate them.
>Atleast i played the games
no you didnt lmao retard
This. Sekiro is not a fucking samurai. He doesn’t even use a fucking bow which was a samurais main weapon. Sekiro is clearly a ninja.
Brainlet take. It’s because how much I can appreciate and understand these games that I can justifiably argue why these very different games are better or worse than one another.
Better than the brainless AssCreed garbage that's Ghost of Tsushima's combat
The gameplay looked pretty bad, what was happening to the camera in the new trailer?
Sekiro loses because of the whole zip everywhere
i wasn't a huge fan of nioh but enjoyed it enough to get through both of them and the DLC, and i'd say the main issue is definitely accessibility. as it stands, there's really only three big appealing things about nioh: combat depth, progression, and bosses. if they had significantly improved on the level design and/or setting, i think it would have been far more appealing to your average user, because i doubt most people care for progression (including me), and combat + bosses honestly isn't enough.
that being said, their core audience seems to in fact be the kind of people who like progression mechanics, so i can't really blame them if they decided against it.
Yes, mashing X to dodge and pressing L1 and Triangle is so much deeper. Nioh is a shit game.
