Disney hates the prequels because they're so much better than the Disney Era bullshit. Yes, even the movies are better.

They had a lot of electro weapons if you think about it, even their little guard staves were electric and those shields were perfectly designed for blasters. Seeing as they used mostly organic tech and beasts of burden and had a standoffish at best relationship with the Nabooan humans, they probably used Boomers to disable speeders and such during past skirmishes with Theed.

The Star Wars landscape was totally different at the time of the Disney buyout/TFA. The prequels were considered to be the absolute worst movies of all time. Stoklasa's reviews were gospel -- and no one would dare ever claim that the prequels had any redeemable qualities.

It wasn't until around after TFA came out that "prequel memes" started, which were tongue and cheek and mostly ironic, and we have Zig Forums to blame for that. Eventually this spread to normalfags, and young people who grew up with the prequels. Making fun of the prequels became an appreciation for them, and when TLJ came out, prequel lovers were officially completely vindicated.

EAwars is thinking in the 2015 mindset, but now everyone loves the prequels. Nobody cares about the OT anymore besides the absolutely basedest of the onions.

I think the best part of the clone wars was that there was no clear good guys - bad guys split. Both sides were pretty morally gray and were ultimately lead by the same person who orchestrated the conflict.
The most boring part of star wars for me has been the rebel good empire bad split. Like, bleh, ww2 but in space, epic.

It's exaggerated gothic aesthetics painted over every other intellectual property they could steal, plain and simple. They even call the human language Gothic, after all.

They like anything with a "crusader" aesthetic, so that instantly makes it cringe.

I mean, one of the big appeals of 40k is the scale & versatility, so you can really do a lot within it creatively. This may sound cringe, but you could seriously imagine many sci-fi settings within 40k and have it remain lore accurate. Sure certain aspects of it are cringe (reddit/youtube commenter retards spewing "ACHKTUALLY, A SPACE MARINE COULD BLINK AND THE WIND FROM HIS EYELASHES WOULD PEEL THE SKIN OFF OF A JEDI!!!! LE HERESY!!!!") but I still enjoy it desu.
