It was just barely above average

Agreed.

Yeah I loved it.

It was, but everyone will hate on it because nintendoGAF hates Sony.

If this was a multiplat it would be getting 6/10s.

Delusional. Just like how AC Odyssey (a game which is mediocre in comparison and a game I like because of the setting alone) was getting 6/10s right?

got way too repetitive towards the latter half of the game, there's a serious lack of variety not only in the world but in the quests

Not him but ubishit games always get boosts, at least most people admit they're mediocre.

I want these dudes to make a ninja stealth game in the spirit of Tenchu.

It was a solid 8/10

8/10. Clearly flawed in the same ways all open world games tend to be, all stealth games tend to be, but holy shit Sucker Punch finally after 2 decades of making vidya they made a fun melee combat system. The story doesn't allow much more than an expansion for the invasion of Iki and Tsushima 7 years later, but man just go full Nioh with demons and powers and shit again.

Hardly, it's just a solid game. Great music, good art direction, good tech (stuff like instant load times), solid story, does away with shitty heavy-handed UI, etc.
8/10 is pretty much the score that perfectly describes the game.

Its a shitty movie.

This dude gets it. If anything, it can be propelled to a 9 if the presentation really clicks with the player. But aside from ratings and scores it's fun

>t. can't even finish the game on hard

I don't play movie games that interrupt gameplay with talking and "oooh so deep story" shit that no one cares about. I play games. You watch movies.

Doubt it considering you don't even know what you're talking about

8/10 for sure - great atmosphere and tone, decent writing. Combat felt like a culmination of a generation of assassin's creed and bamham, with a bit of nioh stances - the only problem being it gets repetitive and lethal difficulty is broken.
It will be interesting what the next generation of games can do to innovate upon the open world concept though - because the waypoint-driven collectathon of map pins is clearly becoming very tired now.

If at any point for any amount of time gameplay is suspended for some kind of "plot" exposition its not a game, its a movie. This is why there is not a single game on the snoystation.

>I don't play movie games that interrupt gameplay with talking
What you're saying is the exact opposite of the truth. It's a game presented cinematically but you play it.
But go ahead and showcase your ignorance some more, attentionwhore.

Congrats, you've limited your games to atari2600 and commodore 64 titles. You sure showed 'em snoys

Show me the plot exposition that suspends gameplay in Smash or Kart

It's already a ninja game but I get the Tenchu part

>smash or kart

Yes. Actual games, not movies.

Take a shower retard

What's the best way to farm supplies?
I need to upgrade so much shit, and it's taking forever.

Dude, that is the easiest thing to obtain in the game. Jus put the travel outfit! It doubles the number of things you collect!

Are you the retard that made the thread claiming SFV is a fucking movie game earlier? lol

Well fuck me in the face. I haven't even worn it once

I'm playing it and I'm finding it enjoyable. I do agree with other anons that it does seem repetitive
