Is piracy really the best tactic against dishonorable business tactics or is there something better? Because it sure as hell isn't working.

Do pirates really tell themselves that they are just because they think they are serving justice to dishonorable companies? Pirates only do it because they are apathetic and don't want to spend money to play video games.

No, you could be also having sex with their daughters.

>dishonorable business tactics
the videogame industry doesnt care about honor, they care about money

no amount of piracy and boycotting will stop retarded faggots like you from buying the next battleroyale game so you dont feel left out

the best tactic is playing a better game you sperg

They're a company which is why I will always go for the indie man at first usually. The higher you go, the smaller the people look from above to you usually.

tl;dr:

They don't give a fuck about you so you shouldn't give a fuck about them.

No I just like free shit. It's as simple as that. Anyone claiming otherwise is delusional.

Capitalism is cringe

buy, review bomb, refund
sure you'll be left with steambux but it's at least more proactive than just a pirate.

Best is to actively ignore discussion about it and don't play it. If youre pirating but still talking about it you are helping market the game for them.

Plus as long as you don't uninstall it and the game doesn't use any major steam integration it's not like you lose the game. Just can't do it too many times in a certain timespan a timespan I have absolutely no idea the length of but probably any more than one game a few days is too much? or steam stops accepting refunds even if they're within the valid range of 2 weeks and/or 2 hours of gameplay.

pirating a game shows interest in the game. publishers see it as another potential customer.

>imagine pirating AAA games when there's 40 years of video game classics to emulate

Has this ever worked?

If a game isn’t worth paying for it’s probably not worth playing.

All video game companies have dishonorable business practices, so pirate, give them bad PR, and don't talk about the game unless you like it.

Yes.
It costs nothing to make a good game. An autist with good coding skill and passion will always find time to code a good game for free in his spare time.
AAA companies jew the fuck out of everyone while pumping out shit games.
Therefore the solution is to just fucking pirate and review bomb everything.

also obligatory fuck off newfag frog-posting fuck.

No. You dont destroy fire with more fire.

Instead of caring about dishonorable business games, spend your money and time with honorable ones.

There's plenty of good indie games nowadays for example.

i pirate games because there is no reason to pay for a thing that i can get it for free

Plus by spend your money on those honorable developer, you're investing in creating more honest alternatives to dishonorable ones and in the future those can replace those without honor.

Indie games are fucking soulless shit

i'm just poor

Based

I've been doing it for 20+ years and I do it because I can.

Finding games that you really love and trying to share them with others is better than just pirating garbage that helps give garbage publicity.

It was never an actual tactic, its just rationalization

>sure you'll be left with steambux
Nah, you can get the refund to your card.

>It costs nothing to make a good game
That's so fucking retarded I'm not sure where to start. Do you think people's time is inherently worthless? Are you unable to figure out why something might cost a few dollars when the material for it was much less than that? Does the fact that people expect a paycheck at the end of a work week confuse and anger you?

Most of the big companies aren't even selling a product anymore so what do they care if you buy it or not? As long as their antiwhite antimale propaganda gets spread the cash is an afterthought.

yes it is. devs and publishers are now paying billions to Denuvo to stop their game being pirated. we created a protection racket in the video game industry; pay up to Denuvo or gamers will pirate your game so much you go bankrupt.

...

This applies to most large and medium-scale companies anyways. Always consider the bottom line, and always consider their bottom line as against your's.
