Those are some nasty nails.

Tanukana is my fighting game waifu

Are fightsticks good for you?

You posted it, except i didn't change the buttons or the stick. I think the RAP4 is the most cost efficient when comparing money to quality, it's pretty good as a first fightstick.

The world would be a better place if men didn't put women on such a high pedestal. Know your worth kings

I have a brook universal stick in a cardboard box.
What a good afforable case that supports art?

it's fun!

I don't usually simp, but, damn.

I like fighting games but I'm not super good at them, I've been thinking about getting a pad for some time now, how much should I expect to spend just for an intro level stick I see some on amazon for under $50 but I don't want to buy something that's total shit.
Can I get something decent in the ballpark of $100? Any recommendations fight anons?

right is a tranny

In the US?

>using arcade sticks for fighting games
cringe, just use a pad you fucker
>using arcade sticks for arcade games

>Bare ass touching the chair
Disgusting.

yes

Honestly it's not really worth it outside of the novelty, unless you play a piano input character.

Don't cheap out on sticks. If you're only spending $100, look for used ones from people that are upgrading to a better one. At that pricepoint if you really want to buy new you're probably best off looking for a Qanba Drone. Don't buy a Hori Mini.

I regretted buying a stick for fighting games until I played gundam versus

Been thinking about among a fightstick/controller for rhythm games and shmups. Minus the case, all materials including soldering iron will cost about $120. I have no way to make a case though, maybe I'll just lay the buttons on my desk and smash them while I play.

>I'll just lay the buttons on my desk and smash them while I play.
That sounds like a horrible idea. Just cut holes in a shoebox or some shit.

HOLY HOT DAMNN

THAT'S THE BEST FIGHTSTICK I'VE EVER SEEN

does it make you play jack o better?

Kinda the same here. I still wish I got a hitbox because every time I get back into Tekken or DBFZ, it takes me a couple of days to get back into the grove.
It's even worse with Tekken because everytime I come back from a break I literally can't QCF with Paul. Can you imagine playing a fucking Paul without Deathfist? That's like a shark with no teeth.

cringe

what kind of price tag am I looking at for a decent one? The Qanba Drone you mentioned isn't that expensive but its kinda in that in-between price where I don't want to spend $70 just to try something and then spending another $200 in a few months if I like playing with a fight stick but at the same time I don't want to drop that much money if I'm just going to go back to a regular controller.
If I said I was looking for a good intro stick and didn't put a strict price limit what would you guys recommend.

My fight stick!

I learned stick with sf4, and I think the gross input leniency fucked me

Rumor has it that to fuck Sherry you have to make Top 8 at Evo.

You don't have to post titties in here anymore, OP
No one in here likes girls, just traps

There's a guy named EternalRival on etsy (just search arcade stick and you'll find him) that has some cheaper options for cases. Think he was a website too. Also you can probably find a used Mad Catz TE for around $50 on eBay which isn't a bad case to gut the parts out.

Its obvious as fuck the one on the right is a dude

If you ever see a girl with nails like that, just go. She doesn't even care about her own well-being at that point lol.

Had a Hori RAP 4 since the end of 2016. Only had to replace 2 buttons, the 2 and the 4 (Tekken notation). Both popped out while I was playing DB FighterZ lol, the input for vanish (2+4/M+H) requires me to position my fingers in a really strange way and I smash the buttons too hard.

Other than that it's been working perfectly. I have my eye on the Qanba Obsidian for my next stick. Never used Sanwa parts before (been using the stock Hayabusa ports in my Hori) and everybody likes to jerk off over them a whole lot so I'm excited to try them out some day. Razer Panthera is also another option. Interested to hear any thoughts on these sticks from people who have them. I want something with a headphone jack on it no matter what. I'd definitely like to get into collecting sticks someday but it's an expensive hobby.

Won't have to worry about next-gen compatibility on sticks because I'm moving to PC next-gen feelsgoodman

How long until someone posts /her/

Friendly reminder to ignore Razershit.

Probably a Hori RAP V or IV if you want to buy used. Pretty good beginner stick for a bit more money than a Qanba Drone, and it's perfectly serviceable if you want to keep using it past the "beginner" stage.

how mad would you be if fighting game developer retards start doing exclusives like Samsho or if Sony bought exclusivity for all the fighting games?

If you're not getting a Qanba Drone, you either gotta buy used or GO BIG OR GO HOME.

Honestly though, just get a hit box.

Woah who is that smoking hot babe in black?! What a cutie!

with how scummy Sony is being now a days I can fucking see it.

Also a Hori guy here. I played on a RAP 5 for years but I found a deal on a Qanba Dragon and snapped it up. I gotta say the buttons are a massive improvement. I just can't go back to the old buttons. The different lever I can take or leave though.
