How did you feel about WaW?

whole game's aesthetic was focused on the horrors of war. It was kino as fuck and it's a world war depicted as it should be

Anyone still playing MP? Surprisingly active and cunt-free. Though some of the regulars are cancerous dropshotters and bunnyhoppers

I liked WaW's music a lot

On PC theres two servers that are pretty populated all throughout the day but it seems that it's only TDM which for me gets old very fast.

CoD WW2 is weird because they don’t have swastikas in MP, but when you lose as the Axis sometimes the announcer will say “the fuhrer will not be pleased!”. Surprised they kept that in but I guess it’s okay if the Axis team is made up of black and Asian women.

I only bought it again for zombies, I don't like the campaign or the multiplayer, I don't like treyarchs campaigns or multiplayers.

also technically Black Ops is WaW 2 because it continues the story of WaW

id be so hyped. treyarch cod was the best cod up until bo3, but at that point ALL cod was terrible. I really liked the new modern warfare for a while there but havent touched it in a good bit. im VERY excited for the new black ops game so long as it captures the things that the first black ops did. BO1 is my favorite cod.

WAW is so fucking good. I wish Activision didn't treat it like a redheaded stepchild

when your sniper pal cuts down the nazi flag at the top of the reichstag and you put the soviet one in its place (could be misremembering, played this game when it came out)

>Zero censorship, swastikas in campaign and multiplayer, you could actually listen to Adolf Hitler's speech if you won as the germans and in the Downfall map

This was the worst game I ever played. It was so janky and broken. Maybe I played it without some essential patch though since I pirated it.

maybe its BECAUSE of all the grenades but the higher difficulties other than the bullshit russian sniper mission dont feel harder other than the heavily increased number of grenades

That mission with Dimitri and Reznov charging through the streets got my adrenaline pumping.
