>every one except one is above average
That's not how that works.

That's the average of games as a whole, not Soulsborne games.

DaS1 > BB > DeS > DaS2 > DaS3

I haven't seen such a fucking more obvious bait thread

Dark Souls 2 is very enjoyable learn how to think for yourself user

You niggers are the TLJfags of Dark Souls.

CE > 2 = ODST > 3 > Reach > 4 > 5 is the objective ranking for Halo campaigns
2 > 3 > CE > 5 > Reach > 4 is the objective ranking for Halo multiplayers

>Just because I ranked it over 3 at the bottom

Take your watered down Bloodborne and shove it up your ass

Dark Souls 2 is max comfy. Sorry you're a pleb that bases your opinions on what youtube essayists think.

DaSIII belongs in shit
DaSII goes above it

So how was the dark souls 2 "unplayable"? This is an objectively correct list, so what kind of game breaking bug did you find and the game became unbeatable?

he couldnt rollspam through every encounter and chug estus with his 2 phantoms during invasions so he shit his pants and cried

DS1 > DS2 > DeS > DS3 > Bloodborne > Sekiro

I've played DS1 so much where I can speedrun it, I've probably used every weapon for a full run now

If it wasn't for my constant playing of DS1 and wanting to come back to it very often, DS2 would be my favorite

I don't really care what people say, DS2 is extremely enjoyable, I love the torch mechanic, and the scholar of the first sin version makes it dark and atmospheric enough to warrant it

Both Sekiro and Demon's Souls are objectively better games than Bloodborne.

But DS2 is by far the easiest DS game unless it's your first one, this is a retarded defense of it.

You first.

I think a lot of people were just put off by how bad 2 was at launch and never bothered trying it again with the SotFS release.

I felt the same way until I tried SotFS and saw haw much they had patched and updated the game.

>BB and DaS3 in Okay
I agree but you're gonna get a lot of (You)'s

melee >>>> 64 >> ultimate > brawl > tr4sh

why does DS2 have so many LE TRICKY TRAPS? it's ridiculous.

>you're going to die
>This Is Dark Souls
it's the most tryhard soulsborne.

SOTFS is literally worse, they made the enemy placements even more shit and fixed none of the major issues like Soul Memory (unless you wear that ring), controls that are fucked by shit deadzones, horrible enemy hitboxes, adaptability, garbage invasion systems, shit level design, shit bosses, and so on.

I played DS2 on launch and loved it

I remember at the time telling my brother it's suprisingly better than DS1 and improved on basically everything

I haven't put as many hours into scholar since I got a lot of my fill from the base game, but your'e right in saying how well they patched and updated it, made it even better to the point where I think people who say otherwise and claim DS2 is one of the bottom tier souls games are just being contrarian

Souls ranking will never ever work because everyone likes different parts of these games. Especially considering post BB Souls games are much different than classic Souls games. Categorizing them into DaS, DeS, DaS2 and BB, DaS3, Sekiro will give much more objective results. Said that here is my listing which is objectively true:
For Classic Souls
DaS>DeS>DaS2
For Action Souls
Sekiro>DaS3>BB

DaS2 is so controversial because it did so many things wrong and so many things right. People's opinions have ended up all over the place because some people care more about the things that were done wrong and other care more about the things that were done right.

>DS3
>90% of chests in the game are mimics
that alone puts it in average tier

>complaining about grab hitboxes
>on a souls game
Also you didn't even try to dodge

It literally grabbed him from across the room lmao

yeah, I recall DS3 having a same problem, hell i even dodged but the lingering hitbox fucked me up

DaS3 had godly hitboxes tough.

Show me a webm of it.
There's literally hundreds of these for DS2, all over the game by tons of different enemies.
DS3 hitboxes aren't perfect but they're vastly superior.

The rat covenant really pissed people off I guess. I feel like the entire game was built around it too.
Being able to level up bonfires in an area.
God, having people get pulling into my world just to yank the internet cable out in frustration was great.
Sorry the rest of you did not understand how the game functioned.

I love dark souls 2 lol its the best one

That's the dumbest defence I heard about DaS2.

And you can still see those "professional" YT players who do nothing but play DS all days saying how they will try SL1 run once and never ever again because they can't roll.
People like them ruined Souls series.

haven't been playing it for a while but SoC is a good example

Shoving iframes on a stat was a mistake by itself
DS2 is a joke

See?

Yeah and? Adaptability was a retarded mechanic that made the game worse and didn't improve it in any way.

Also the different builds in souls games naturally leads to different experiences. As a dex guy DaS2 was ass especially since I didn’t know about adp the first time I played it. Later on with Sotfs I had a much better time with knowledge of adp and doing a str build instead. Still, janky hitboxes m8 and so many lame bosses.

Yup. If they ever do a proper remaster of DaS2 its be great. While theres enough in the game for me to find redeeming aspects of it, it is by far the weakest of the souls series mechanically and artistically (and also in difficulty when you discover you can buy those gems and essentially have infinite healing in boss battles as long as you can manage to find the opportunity to use them during fights).

BB > Sekiro > DS = DS3 > DeS > DS2
I want to point out that Dark Souls II, at the lowest, is still a 9/10, though admittedly only because of SotF. If not it would be a 8.5/10
