I never played it but I kinda want to do it now that they have spanish dubs. I read that you need to do a NG+ for the DLC content and the best way is to 100% the game.
So my question would be if the game have some way of cuck you from getting the 100%? Like a zone/quest getting locket after some part of the gameplay?

I really dislike the setting of the game. It feels pseudo deep and pretentious. I dont like the dark souls elements either.

How do you pick up that bead? I don't get it. I still haven't started the NG+ because I was 100%ing my save file. I only need to get that bead but I just can't do it. Is the game bugged or something? I'm playing on the Switch.

It's a love letter to traditional Spanish Christian imagery. Nothing more, nothing else. It's purely aesthetic and cultural.

Hey, thanks, user. I finally did it. Now I only have to collect 50k tears to give to the church in Albero and unlock the skin. I hope some of this busywork carries over to NG+, if I can have upgraded Prie Dieus from the get go, I'd be golden.

I fought Ten Piedad first and I think that locks you out of it.

check the wiki I think what locks you out is doing more than 2 bosses after talking with him for the first time.

It's purely aesthetic. But if you want to delve deeper into the lore, you can trace some parallels for fun if you don't take it too seriously.

I was glad I backed the game overall and its even better to see more expansions/DLC. Paid or free, I hope to see continued content expansions as the design, worldbuilding and mechanics are worth it.

It sucks that the health orb challenge invalidates half your rosary items. Incidentally it makes the "heal by destroying objects" rosary invaluable.

There's no reason to buy anything on GOG over Steam. Steam has a much better API and overall functions for both devs and players, so (along with popularity to some degree) it tends to get updates faster and better. Its not like any game on Steam somehow gets DRM stuck to it because of Steam - its up to the publisher and generally, if they also release on GOG that isn';t a DRM issue. Steam is not also just pragmatically better, its more open (source) and has better features in that regard as well, whereas GOG hasn't even been able to manage a Linux client.

GOG isn't a horrible platform (they're still better than all of the shit AAA proprietary types like Origin) , but examples like this among many others make me remember why Steam is further ahead.

To my understanding there are no new achievements so I doubt it counts DLC bosses.

I like GOG better than Steam on principle, but damn do they need to fix their updates. Shits is always out of date with Steam is laughable.
