I've downgraded my cautious optimism to "well maybe [one or two features] will be good". So far those features are the havens (multiple options, one per faction and per bloodline, nice atmosphere in them etc) and how they handle choosing a clan (ie a dungeon + fight that captures the essence of the clan before you diablerize them).
