Ring Fit

So does this shit work? I like RPGs so I figured even a dinky one like this might motivate me to actually stick to a work out routine

I really want to fuck the female trainer

It's fun but will fuck your shit up. I just unlocked the skill panels

Get a carpet or mat to play on, "running" on hardwood will fuck up your kneecaps.

What do you mean? If it just really intense cardio?

Absolutely amazing cardio, mediocre attempt to emulate resistance and weight training. I suggest you do this in conjunction with lifting. The game puts you in a good mindset of coming back due to the game-fication of sets and reps. Its been 2 months and I've lost 3 kilos by fixing my diet and lifting alongside daily RFA for at least 160 calories

It’s hella fun, but you probably want to lift weights on the side because it’s definitely skewed towards cardio

>Doing good
>nailing most excercises
>hey lets check out this new alternate path
>leg only challenge
>o..okay
>squats that I fucking suck shit at
>knee hops which I'm good at
>this one fucking thing that you have to get on the floor and pretend your cycling
>just fuck my shit up senpai

God, I have to go back to that and try to clear it, my knees aren't very healthy (but not dead either) so that little sequence just raped me, think you had to get 85% average to clear it but I couldn't pass it

After the first few sessions, I'm not really getting sore any more. I just always take a break when it suggests it. Should I ignore it and do more, or up the difficulty? I dont want to be complacent, but I dont want to fuck up my shit either

That shit fucked me up too, this game tortures you’re legs

Yes. Its both a fun little JRPG and a good workout. I can only hope they add an expansion with more content, more types of exercises, and other new stuff. Easily the best of the "fitness" type games to date.

It has a VERY comprehensive campaign (with a number of "new game plus" modes too, that change things around), and also lots of independent mini-games, or sets for working out different parts of the body. THere's even a music game they patched in a little while ago. I play every other day just about and, having started in November last year, I'm now just a little way into the first new-game-plus mode.

The only downside is that certain types of exercises will be used for only "Healing" type abilities instead of damage ones, so I never use those for the most part (there are other ways to heal), and that there are times that the specific exercise you do is based on which does the most game damage. I wish there was an option where you picked an ability color and the game gave you a randomized exercise type from that color for max damage for how many spots it hits (1 enemy up to 5 enemies) etc.. Overall though its great and i've love to see more.

Do you feel healthier, or do you think you're not getting enough out of the workout? You probably could up the difficulty without hurting yourself, but if you feel like you're getting what you want out of the game as it is now, that's still a good achievement to keep up.

You don’t necessarily need to be sore after every work out. It’s more a question of “is it too easy”. If you’re barely breaking a sweat, bump up the difficulty

How do you measure your actual weight? Not including water weight or food? Just weigh yourself every morning before working out?

WHERE CAN I BUY THIS FOR MSRP

Today was a day off because I can still feel the pain from last night training.

Shit is so fun, I can feel my muscles getting worked out.

I feel largely the same as before. The only noticable difference is that I'm sleeping better. I hurt like a bitch the first day but thats to be expected since I'm really out of shape. Its been a week and a half and I've done had 5 sessions. I was sweating like a pig by the end of last session, but I'm fine today. it says I'm running about a mile each session so I dont know if that's good or not.

I just figured I'd hurt more. I'm way out of shape and slightly overweight.

Actually been looking at this. I've been home from work since april and am starting to get a belly.
No motication to jog around my neighborhood but figure if its vidya I'll actually do it

Best Buy. At least you could a few days ago. Mine arrives tomorrow.

What difficulty do you have it set at?

>So does this shit work?
on higher difficulties
its a good way for someone to do light body training and cardio, makes exercising "fun"
Your better off watching anime/movies/cartoons while lifting dumb bells though

After the initial hurdle, have a restday or two. Too much stress will hamper muscle development

>this one fucking thing that you have to get on the floor and pretend your cycling
fucking bicycles. those things have always fucked me up. I look forward to when my copy arrives later this week.

It says "12" right now

Try changing your skills to target a different part of your body for each session. After you hit level 25 or so you have enough exercises to choose "Core", "Legs", or "Arms" preset of skills.
Still, its not the most intense work out at high levels.

Yes, before eating breakfast too, literally the moment you wakeup

I got it recently, today was my 2nd day using it. I'm a skinnyfat DYEL so I've been working up a sweat, very intense if you're actually trying and not choosing the easy difficulty.

get a scale and measure yourself before hopping in the shower after you wake up

can you get higher test rings for this thing? or is that not necessary? I had to get high resistance bands when I did power 90 years back.

>I had to get high resistance bands when I did power 90 years back.
>90 years
Calm the fuck down master roshi

i made the mistake of picking Intense workout on day 1.

My thighs are still recovering from the squats.

>90 years back
Fuck this shit does work huh

I kinda want to get this cause i think it would be something kind of fun and could motivate me to be more active but im worried that it would make me seem really lame or childish if people saw that I used it
