Go back to CS:GO

Are you seriously so retarded that you can’t see the bright as fuck pre fire laser blinking right at you?

How does Master Chief Collection run on PC? How optimized is it?

>destroy other team's vehicles
>completely massacre other team with our vehicles

Wow, so balanced

>drives behind cover

3 is very optimized but Reach can't handle framerates above 60 properly. Don't know about the others.

>pre charge the laser before finding a target
>now the driver can't react

The laser was nerfed in Reach for a reason.

sweet

I'm not sure if reach is a case by case basis though as I personally have no issues above 60, but I'm not sure how common the issue may be. I could just be one of the lucky few

I'm more concerned with Reach and Halo 2. I never played Halo 2 remaster on console or whatever, but the original Halo 2 ran like fucking curdled milk. I'm hoping it runs better now after almost 20 years later,

I also have zero interest in anything made by 343. Halo ended at Reach.

Even the original Halo 2 runs fine on modern PCs. I will say that if you're planning on playing with a mouse I wouldn't bother getting the MCC because the mouse input just emulates an analog stick and it feels like shit. Controller support is 1:1 with the Xbox versions though.

>I don't keep it loaded son
>as soon as cutscene ends you get it fully loaded
what did keys mean by this?

never played gaylo 3
how bad is it? does it really truly makes vehicles worthless in maps with it? is it like what the sniper is in FPSs?

"zoomer" becomes increasingly meaningless with comments like this

Vehicles are pretty worthless in general no matter what weapons anyone else has, not really sure what he's complaining about. Pretty much the only time anyone actually uses vehicles is to get across large maps quickly and pray you don't die or to fuck around in custom games.

Vehicles are fine, you just sometimes need to worry about power weapons like any other Halo. The Battlerifle in Halo 3 isn't as strong as the DMR in Reach so you won't be plinked out of vehicles immediately. I really hate Battlerifle/DMR starts, it makes the Assault kinda useless, but at least you have a weapon to fight back if your team has no power weapons or vehicles

> power weapon
> aim at something for five seconds from anywhere on the map
Meanwhile the Rocket, Energy Drain, Plasma Pistol and Nades all take some actual skill.

>begin aiming at something to try to get a kill
>everyone on the map that saw the beam now knows exactly where you are and that half of your weapons are vehicle destroyers
dude come on. comparing the spazer to fucking grenades? even the rocket launcher is known to be a better weapon and is more sought after because of it. also yeah, aiming directly at something for that amount of time requires you to have actual aiming ability, even though the laser is real big, cause you need to guage where shit is and have a sight line that doesn't get you headshot by enemy snipers or brs.

Aiming the laser is trivial on PC.

rofl no you don't, unless they give you ammo in easier modes. he literally gives you an empty pistol when you start it. exactly what happened last night when a buddy and I started our legendary campaign.

side note holy fuck is halo 1 anniversary bad. play it and flick between the graphics in game, shit is muddled and fuckin ugly in the remaster. a great example is on the very first level, all of the dark areas have lights added to them. there is one large room with a bunch of elites and grunts in it, kinda like a mess hall, flick the graphics from old to new a few times and it's immediately obvious that in the original you can clearly see every enemy in the room yet in the remaster it's all a muddled mess that's not only nowhere near as clear visually and gameplay wise, its fucking ugly as sin with the added puke yellow trim all over the ship. damn my side note is longer than my post but seriously fuck halo 1 remaster

probably my fave weapon on halo 3 back in the day. had a disgustingly high number of kills with the splaser.

>>everyone on the map that saw the beam now knows exactly where you are and that half of your weapons are vehicle destroyers
Pre aim at the fucking ground or a wall, it's not hard. The Splazor is baby mode trivial bullshit that brought nothing to the sandbox but shittier vehicles.

>Pre aim at the fucking ground or a wall
Wow almost like there's extra steps to using the spartan laser effectively than a fucking rocket launcher, almost as if you're completely contradicting your original point.

You still have the same problems though... you're right that 1v1 a spazer can wreck a vehicle easily, but they don't put them everywhere and like I mentioned before, you're at a disadvantage against other players that can really fuck you up for it. Pretty much tryin to say that that one dude is right, spazer is a power weapon like the rocket launcher and not something you just spawn in with ready to blast people all the time, and also not something that is just an ez guaranteed few vehicle blasts. The one dude even said that rocket launchers take more skill to use, which they really fuckin don't at all. Killing players and vehicles with rockets is easier and faster than the spazer for most range scenarios, spazer wins long range sure, but that's kinda the whole point of it, a rare vehicle sniper

> Rocket launcher
Slow firing rockets requiring legitimate thought about what situations to use it in
> Splazor
Charge at the floor then kill literally anything on the map by looking at it.

>tfw got the double laser achievement legit

I think you're looking at it real skewed man... vehicles being incredibly fucking strong is a realistic problem for the sandbox and adding a rare low ammo weapon to help smooth things out is a great idea. Vehicles aren't shit at all either, maybe in the newer ones though like halo 4 and 5. I haven't played much of those beyond some sparse swat in h5. But in h3 spazers did not make vehicles useless. They put one gun on each map that you have to work around with vehicles and straight up designed the maps with vehicle sightlines involved to make things more interesting. The difference between blood gulch and valhalla shows that they took things like that in to account. Also, power weapons can be as strong as vehicles or even stronger, idk why you think otherwise. You act like every round is devoid of vehicles because spazers from invis players all over the map immediately blast them, when in reality some shitdick gets it, shoots a shot, dies, some other shitdick dies while rushing to grab it, and then it only gets shot at players around them until its empty and discarded.

playing h2 on legendary and i gotta vent about mission 10
fuck that shit bro, that and starting in the prophet throne room

Opening of Gravemind on Legendary is such bullshit. Until you can get the Carbine you're practically useless.

spazer is fine git gud

I don't understand people's obsession with finishing these games on legendary and then complaining about it. Heroic is the only difficulty that's actually fun, legendary is for co op.
