Zig Forums fucking apologise RIGHT NOW
For what? It's a good game, solid 7.5, maybe 8. Most of Zig Forums seems to think highly enough of it
How about you don't fucking tell me what to do
NEVER
PS EXCLUSIVES SUUCK
EAT A DICK FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU
cope
For what?
you must be a fucking tranny to actually believe that
I won't, I'd rather wait for the inevitable Gekokujo 2 mod for Bannerlord than to play this shit
have sex
>reviewers praise the absolute shit out of Assassin's Creed Odyssey despite it being a mediocre game with no new ideas
>every GoT review calls it a tired Ubisoft open world clone with no new ideas despite the fact Ubisoft hasn't made a game this good in their entire history
I came so close to not buying this game, what the fuck is wrong with this industry
No, it could have been a game about killing koreans instead. Wasted opportunity.
calm down pissbaby
This game tries too hard to be the ultimate "weeb" samurai game
In what way?
based
It respects the culture it potrays.
How are you such a fucking tool?
IDK man it's almost like listening to Zig Forums and shill reviewers is a bad idea or something.
>what the fuck is wrong with this industry
Honest to God it's because of bought journalists with no integrity or love for the medium and the fact there's just too many gullible retards who buy shitty games because they're told to
I never listen to reviewers' actual opinions but I'm halfway through the second province and it doesn't even feel like I'm playing the game the reviews described, even if I remove their opinions from the equation completely.
Gomenasai.
When there are no valid complaints about a game you get shit like this.
The game intentionally tried to be like samurai cinema and retards like you try to pretend like that's a bad thing.
What's so good about this game?
It's a solid 8.5/10.
It feels and plays a lot like Days Gone but with Samurai and Mongolians, a better story and more polish.
Days Gone was a 6/10.
I was in the same boat, as well as every single one of my friends. I came to the conclusion that it would be a soulless Ubisoft clone just based on what I saw from E3 last year when they announced it, so I wasn't hyped at all. The night before it came out I decided I was bored enough to risk $60 and it ended up being the best $60 I've spent on a game in years. 3 of my friends bought it based on my recommendation and they all loved it.
GoT was the first game I've paid the MSRP for in 20 years and it was worth every penny.
Atmosphere is great but the combat is fucking awful. It's like if you took the stealth of AC and standard combat from the Batman games, it's garbage. Maybe a 7/10 game.
I think the biggest problem is that the combat LOOKS like asscreed shit, but the only reason it looks like that is because the animations and general flow are so polished. When you watch footage of it you don't expect that the player is actually directly controlling every single action.
Why don't more people take issue with the final act of the game? The raid on Shinimura's castle has some of the most contrived writing I have ever seen in a videogame. The final area is also really lame compared to the first two, gameplay-wise and visually.
could you kindly fuck off already with your samurai snap? it´s boring trash with pretty visuals, only normies get fooled into thinking it´s a mastahpiece
I shouldn't have doubted Sucker Punch.
Why would I? I've wanted it since I saw that white dud playing the flute at E3. The second it comes to PC I'm preordering.
Good:
>Combat
-Short and sweet
-You actually have freedom how to engage
-There's actually stupid amount of tools and "builds" you can make.
>Story
-Its actually really interesting take how the gameplay pushes you to become antagonist and while everyone tells you its the easy way out... they're right.
-Actually engaging, characters feel like actual characters with issues - while some are a bit dry.
>The polish
-Its like having scotch in a bath. The game looks and sounds beautiful. All the designs. Trees, buildings, armors etc. fantastic.
Lukewarm to bad:
>Exploration
-There is just too much. I dont ever wanna see a fox again. It was fun at beginning but i think if they would've cut half the fox altars it would've done service to the game.
Same thing to everything really. It needed a bit more variance.
-There's no good random encounters. Everytime you encounter something on the way, its always mongols this or robbers that. They feel natural but i think there needd to be again, more variant. Even scripted ones. In RDR2 you could come across escaping prisoners, sheriff in shoot out, wild animals killing a guy etc. GoT really needed something like this.
-There's too much filler areas. While everything is beautiful, not many places are memorable.
i got more to say but i actually think i go play it now
it's comfy, the world is great and the gameplay ain't dogshit
