They should make the real KH3 already
I'm glad DR answered the question if all worlds move at the same time rate
> They should make the real KH3 already
Best girl
more like shitgum farts

Sadly I think the current pile of shit that is KH3 is the logical result of the unfocused mess that is the KH franchise.
Barry?
KH3 was good change my mind
No I am also very critical of FFXV
The best characters in this series with the best story hands down. riku story in reverse rebirth comes in close though
No Reaction Commands. They just dumped a system with plenty of potential--potential they were starting to really tap into in Final Mix--for fucking Disney rides.
>I can smell you Ansem
The weird thing is I don't think I've met a single person who thinks the rides were anything other than a retarded idea. So why in the fuck are they a thing?
What's the best way to emulate KH2FM? PS2 or PS3?
PS2 emulation sucks so PS3
Reaction commands were god awful and only a contraian place like this could argue otherwise. They were created to capitalizs on the popularity of QTEs and have absolutely no skill attach to them they all amount to an I win button. The only decent QTE in the entire game was duel.
The formchanges are a much better mechanic since they are keyblade specific and can be stocked and used whenever. As for enemy specific reactions they still exist, most obviously using Goofy's bomber to instant kill the sand worm heartless. These sort of organic reactions is what they should be expanding on rather than garbage like reaction commands.
I hated Roxas when I was a kid. Just wanted to go back to playing Sora.
Now as a big boy I appreciate him for what he is, the only actual character with realistic human emotions in the entire fucking series.
How the fuck do I beat Sephiroth in KH2FM?
...
just use reflectga my dude
Turning the Command Menu into an actual gameplay element like in the fight with Zexion, or using it to actually react quickly with Duel, or even delaying it to test the patience of the player like in the solo fight with Xemnas, or having to weave it in in-between attacks when Xemnas launches you during the final fight is far more interesting than spinning around in a cup, you fucking faggot.
Same. I was so confused about what was going on because I didn't know about COM. I thought they were doing a Final Fantasy. I learned to appreciate Roxas as also being the cutest boy in the franchise.
reaction commands and disney rides are both terrible shit thank god i can turn the rides off in 3 at least.
Did the updates fix KH3? Havent played it since launch. All I know is that the disney rides can be turned off
Terra is still the best character in the series.
First of all I'm not talking about attractions, those suck dick as much as reaction command and I turn them off every time I play 3.
Second, I'll give you Zexion because honestly I forgot about that one, and it is a good use of it. It's pretty much the same as duel but they built a battle out of it so it's cool.
As for the "test of patience", what a fucking a joke, the window is huge and has no penalty for any of the commands before the last one, meaning it's a free hit on Xemnas 2/3rds of the time and a 90% chance of hitting Xemnas the last third. Reversal also in 3 when you fight Xemnas.
That's why I said that they were starting to tap into the potential with RCs. Shit like the "test of patience" could've been expanded on to add different routes if they really wanted to continue down the QTE shit, and even then they could've punished the player for just mashing away at the RCs like they're QTEs. But for the most part, all of the RCs were context specific and didn't take you out of the action. The best RCs in KH2 were the ones that weren't heavily scripted and relied on exploiting enemy weakness, baiting certain behaviors, and/or that played around with the concept of the Command Menu. They were dynamic and kept the fights interesting and demanded a modicum of understanding of enemy behaviors.
As much as I liked Days for being the last "simple" and charming story KH had to offer, Nomura kind of fucked up creating Xion to make the trio and not utilizing Namine.
It would have required more work, but having two members of an organization trying to be friends with a character who's continued existence puts the plans of said organization in jeopardy would have worked well. Most of the same story beats could still work of Roxas having an existential crisis about who he is supposed to be, and all three of them have been shown to have chemistry(Axel being kind to Namine in COM, Roxas and Namine liking each other for obvious reasons) As much as liked Xion, missing the chance to strengthen Namine's characters seemed liked a miss opportunity.
