What am i in for
janky soulsclone with a generic setting
Soulless Soul clone with shit diablo loot
Pain and frustration at first. If you manage to push through and git gud it turns into one of the goatest arpgs in existence.
If you're a brainlet though you'll simply get filtered like this fag
Meant and
Cringe up until he meets Okatsu and has a hapa samurai son in Nioh 2
a game that far overstays its welcome
it's ok but jesus christ the enemy and location variety is trash
A really satisfying combat system
I FINALLY GOT PAST OGRESS
FUCK THAT BITCH
all you got to do is hug her m8
Yeah I realized that at one point. The thing that made it hell for me was her big jump attack.
It's not a souls game, don't play it like one.
it is a souls game though
it is the dark souls of nioh
A good dark souls style gaming, with enough differences to stand on its own. Has a loot system, which can be either shit or addictive depending on your expectations.
Easily one of the worst Soulsborne clones in the market. An extremely mediocre game that looks like shit, plays like shit, is designed like shit and uses Diablo loot.
>t. filtered brainlet
Only thing I immensely dislike are the tracking enemies.
Nigga just dodge/block.
A game that either forces you to grind for broken gear or abuse talismans and shit to overpower the enemies, because otherwise enemies overpower you. There's no middle ground in its balance.
fpbp
>The game is unanimously considered a piece of shit by both casual gamers and the Soulsborne community
>"Yo-you're just filtered"
Well, to be fair you're not exactly wrong.
People got filtered by the lazy developers using Diablo loot to not have to design an actual game, the soulless level design, the embarrassing lack of enemy variety, the disgusting fact that the player is forced to either grind until he gets the right gear combination or abuse Sloth + confusion to progress, the PS2 era graphics and the insulting content recycling.
Ghost of Tsushima, a generic Ubisoftesque open world game, being a far superior game to Nioh 2 says a lot about how putrid the Nioh series is.
This. Even the Souls games with their RPG elements require the player to acquire skill. Nioh is so broken on a fundamental level you need to abuse its poorly designed mechanic to win.
speedsouls
>asscreed in nipponland
Lol
Of course its far more popular being as dumbed down as it is. The more generic your game the more it will appeal to the lowest common denominator.
Just because you couldn't git gud and had to cheese your way through with sloth doesn't mean Nioh is a bad game, it just outs you as a total sub 60 iq retard.
>Nioh is so broken on a fundamental level you need to abuse its poorly designed mechanic to win.
For the base game, that's only the case if you go into NG+ and ++ levels.
The DLC though; yeah, all notion of balance went out the window.
Kino combat.
This is not true at all you can beat the game fine by just equipping the highest attack weapon and def armour you find along the way without grinding.
It's ok to not be good at a video game the grinding option is actually to your benefit in this case.
A barebones prologue tutorial that leads directly into ANOTHER tutorial that actually teaches you the proper game mechanics. After that, it's just a fun game with deep mechanics. I recommend the Odachi.
YOUR SKIRR AGAINST ONI IS VERR IMPRESHIVE
But it is also the best souls-like game aside from Bloodborne. Puts Dark Souls combat and mechanical depth to pathetic shame.
>This is not true at all you can beat the game fine by just equipping the highest attack weapon and def armour you find along the way without grinding
Why do you come to the internet to tell lies?
