Just finished this game.
So, what did I think of it?

I’m enjoying my play through of the game so far. But I am playing it very slowly.

you thought it was 8.5/10 kino

I dunno, you probably liked it, everyone seems to.
I'm playing it myself at the moment and something about it just isn't clicking with me. It's so repetitive. Yeah the world is pretty, but its just the same shit over and over, go to camp, free hostages, fight mongols. 90% of quests are some variation on that. I dunno why people get a boner for this games open world, there isn't that much interesting to stumble across. Something like RDR2 shits all over it in that regard.

It was fun, but I don't think I'd ever return for a 2nd playthrough

Same here ,a good movie Game is still a movie game

user thats called schizophrenia

Did the 1.06 patch fix the shitty bug where you lose ammo?

Absolutely AMAZING because you are a weeb and they put a shitty weeb setting in it, which makes you oblivious to all the flaws it has and the fact it's just weeb Far Cry.

I honestly think it would have been better as a straight action game without the shoehorned stealth and open world bullshit. the game is at its peak when you're dancing around hordes of those goddamn mongorians.

All you think about is cock. You are my cock slave. Now suck me off.

How?

pretty much how I felt, the gameplay is good enough and everything works, it doesn't feel as bloated as a Ubishart game, but it's very reptitive, every time I heard a quest NPC say 'Mongols' my eyes rolled since I knew exactly what was coming
Rockstar set the bar too high

Ng + when???

it's a PlayStation game. That makes it either a movie or non existent according to these retards.

If you like Ass creed type open worlds games you'll like it.
If you like weeb shit you'll like it.
If you like both these things you'll love it and think it's the best game ever.
If you're a rational person that likes either of these things you'll think it's decent with some clear flaws but not much more than that.

Yeah, the game is pretty repetitive, I must admit. It's carried solely by the combat. More missions like the one where you had to quickly climb the mountain or you're freeze, or ones where you locate a place by comparing it to a painting, etc. would have been greatly appreciated. I guess that's the main flaw in realistic games; you can't have any foes other than just boring humans. Perhaps if bears were challenging boss encounters to act as an animal analogue to duels.

Liked it but it started to get boring in Act 3 since I'd already hit the level cap and maxed out my equipment by then. Lost interest in exploring, but unfortunately Act 3 is also super-rushed storyline-wise and while the snowy environment looked nice at first it started to get really samey after a while. The actual ending was good but the game really suffers in those last 5-7 hours and doesn't live up at all to the climax of Act 1 or 2.
The Kotun Boss fight was pretty good though, I like that you get a "real" duel with him where he is pretty hard, then you get to go full DISHONORABLE on him and BTFO him with Ghost weapons, felt very thematic.

The game needed more boss encounters like that, first with a duel, then fighting him as a normal enemy where you have to deal with his backup in some way, either taking care of them while he chases you or finding some other way of CCing them.

Daily reminder that there are """"""""""people"""""""""" who didn't give Shimura an honorable death

They could have at least had humans who mixed up their strategies. Act 1 and 2 had the Bandits and Straw Hat Ronin who mixed it up a little but they totally disappear by the end of the game. Why not have Mongol soldiers in act 3 who emulate The Ghost's tactics by using stealth and such? Or actual Horse Archers? Or at least one big fight against a Samurai force? Lots of missed opportunities. The duels at least had some unique enemies, but its like they were afraid to take those concepts and use them in the open world. Why no actual ranged boss fight, for instance?

I cant parry ronin im such a retard

>Why no actual ranged boss fight, for instance?
Because ranged fighting in this game is utter cancer. Using bows against bowmen is completely unviable because they just shoot faster than you and you can't strafe fast enough to dodge arrows, meaning that your only solution is running up to them and cutting them down.

I might have no honor, but I won't kill my family.

He's dead anyway. Now he has to commit seppuku for his failure.

You though it was ok

You can travel between set pieces and do sand box bullshit ,bit you know me

You just have to use cover user, it's not that bad. They barely move from their firing position so you just take cover, draw, wait for them to shoot then fire back. What I wanted was a dual stealth/ranged boss, it seemed like thats what they were setting up Tomoe for as some MGS3 The End style boss fight but they chickened out of it. They even had the perfect set up with the two of you hunting each other in a snowstorm.

>be slightly above/below enemy
>all their attacks hit you 100%
>all your attacks miss 100%

did nobody playtest this shit

Had the same problem, changed it to lethal difficulty game got 100× better instantly. Try it.

I found it very shallow and repetitive lack of enemy types and bosses. A checklist open world that looks great, but overall serves no purpose than to spend time travelling to and checking something off follwoing a fox is not gameplay neither is the auto platforming. Combat encounters I found to be dull due to lack of variety and by being far too easy.

I did enjoy it at the start, but I got dull very quickly and just stopped playing on after doing the mission for the grappling hook

>playing on lethal
>everything dies in one or two hits, including you
>in duels you die in one hit but the enemy can still take 20 hits

they did not think this through

I cant get over how pretty the game is, every few minutes i go into photo mode just because Im so blown away by the visuals. Other than that the game is fun, and a lot of fun if you play it on lethal.
