2, and it's not a debate

3, and it's not a debate

I played that one on 3DS, these games are the most dull, uninspired platformers I've probably ever encountered. Why you would get excited for this is beyond me

Hi GBAFag

Rub it in fucker

2 has always and will always be the only good game in the series

You do know the 3DS Pikmin game has nothing to do with the other games except being Pikmin branded? It's by some 3rd rate developer who hasn't even done anything else of note.

Holy based

since the wii u was a botched experiment, why nintendo doesn't port wind waker?
WW and Twilight Princess are the only ones I haven't played because they're always in joke platforms.

I personally liked 2 more. Switching between 3 characters was more annoying that helpful, the juice system may as well not been there, the wii u pad was a pain as it was required to play even when using wii remote and no piklopedia

I think if delux addresses these issues it might be able to rival 2 for me.

>tfw loved the first one but gamecube got stolen and never had a wii or wii u
>not willing to buy a switch only for a couple of games
Hope I can be them a shot some day

I love 2, but I prefer 3. I prefer exploring the overworld over 2’s caves.

>unironically the worst one.

Buy a used wii, scoop up aload of cheap games, softmod if you like.
It's a nice little console that can emulate most shit up to psx

I find Pikmin 2s caves are both its strongest and weakest point. They start off being only slightly immersion-breaking by trying to fit into the level design like Snagret Hole and Submerged Castle (multidimensional roller-ghost notwithstanding) but eventually get into bullshit territory like Gluttons Kitchen and literally everything in Wistful Wild. I consider this an issue because immersion is Pikmin's strongest point. Even though it's all made up, most of the creatures feel as though they might actually belong there on Earth naturally. That said, the random spawning gives 2 a lot of replayability. It feels a lot more fresh than going through 1 or 3 again. I also really like the flow the sublevel progression gives, but I can see why some prefer to stay roaming in a large overworld. The feeling of reaching a new, unexpected place was a lot greater playing Pikmin 1 for the first time than in 2

>Why doesn't Nintendo do a thing that would be fun?
because it's Nintendo. Buy Origami King and eat generic Toad, faggot

i'm guessing we can't use the pikmin amiibo?

you implicitly haven't played skyward sword then

>Caves that take away any fun world design and the time element and feel like user made custom levels on a limited level creator
2 is easily the worst game

Pikmin 2
- Much longer (more collectables, enemy variety)
- Comfy Piklopedia/Treasure Hoard.
- Treasures >>> Fruits

no i did not.

WW, TP and SW are the trifecta of never played zelda games because I didn't bother with the game cube nor the Wii and skipped the Wii U.
And I do wanna play those fuckers.
I own pretty much all of the nintendo handheld devices, but I've skipped all their home consoles. Now I have a switch, which is my first "home" console from nintendo in what, 20 years or smt?
they converged fuckers like me into a single platform and now I wanna play the other AAA zeldas i've missed out.

Never played this series. Would I enjoy it? I like life sims, rpgs and puzzles.

Horrid bait.

Pikmin 3 is worse because the game has to load parts of the levels separately. All the maps have clearings or holes you have to walk through and wait for the new area to load. While the maps are bigger and more varied, they feel disconnected.
Pikmin 3's still very good though

Cope. 2 is the best just for the caves.

>Platformer
Nigga wut?

I really like the first game. The second game seemed to start strong but then let me down and I don't understand the praise for it. Would much rather have had developed overworlds than all these dungeons because the dungeons feel even more shallow than the ones in Dark Cloud. Instead of actual puzzles there are just elemental gates you have to bring the right colored Pikmin through, and that's pretty much it. Also do not like the new tone, I much preferred Olimar fighting to survive and each part you got back being really meaningful to him rather than just collecting things to see your debt go down, it just wasn't satisfying to me.

3 is too short and I hate the multiple captains

>2
>removes time limit that incentived players in 1 to work as efficiently as possible
>removes the core sense of urgency that drove 1
>CONSTANT text boxes and cutscenes for no fucking reason
>stupid caves that feel incomplete take up the bulk of the gameplay
>even the external environments are just the same as the first game just slightly modded
>mario odyssey problem of too many treasures making the collecting element of the gameplay less rewarding
Why is 2 regarded as the best again? Is this just another "Sonic 2 is the best" sort of thing of retards just parroting other retards or what?

>Platformer
Opinion discarded.

1 is the best game in the series because everything is built around the 30 day time limit. People prefer 2 because it has more content (or they hate timers), or 3 because it looks better.

Imagine liking the most boring feature of a game

>Ditching a fun overworld for video-gamey caves that all look the same and have no time pressure
Fuck no, get some taste
