they played games there isn’t really pics of them before

>people play some 96 pixel shit shooters
>go mental and shoot up the school
>people play super realistic fps games for 20 years now
>nothing happens

It was like gaming in 1997 except there were less games

I didn't even lived in the 90s and I want to go back

LBA 2 was 1997

magical

>playing co op doom over tcp/ip on dialup with my friends who lived 10 miles away
I'd give anything to have those days back. Legitimately makes me a bit sad.

not sure how i screwed that up, but thanks for pointing it out.

No idea, but what's the cutoff date for Zoomers?

If you don't remember 9/11

You can only respond to this post if you played G-Nome when it came out.

this kills the thread

I played G-Police, does that count?

It was a time of wonder and endless possibility as the move to 3D blew everyone's fucking mind. I remember Tekken 2 basically being the pinnacle of vidya for a period (and how salty it made the street fighter crowd).

In 1996 I was playing mostly C&C (the first one, didn't get Red Alert until '97), SimCity 2000, SimFarm, and a few other games. I was also still playing my shareware CDs and ones I borrowed from friends. I also still had my NES and played it semi-regularly, but by then I was mostly into PC gaming.

I've replayed the demo so many times. it was scary

Of course -as a pro at addidas power soccer she had balls control like none other.

>mario 64, resident evil and quake all released in the same year

what the fuck happened with videogames?

Zoomers came along.

this is what Blizzard's peak performance looks like.

>implying

At least you're not browsing Zig Forums while being under 18

God tier. I was playing quake online years before normies knew that was possible. The Internet was a way better place back then too and the people you interacted with were cool and not normie retards. That being said I also enjoyed playing n64 with my normie friends when it came out. Mario 64 was great.

>Duke Nukem
>Killer Instinct
>Twisted Metal
I did not recall that year in particular being so based
