flavor of the day

Man I love noobs being filtered. cope.

It's fun with friends. I think people will play for a week or two, and go back to it every time it updates.

Oh no its that one single person on Zig Forums who dislikes this game

How the fuck did you get those pictures of me

>only one thread now and it complains about the features
So the marketeers are gone for now?

>make it to final round
>disconnect
I can't tell if the constant DC issues I'm having with this game are on my end or theirs. It wasn't an issue in the beta, or oddly enough the first day where I heard people complain about it the most.

Yea im getting them too. Also if im in a party with friends, the game will put them in a lobby with 58/60 players and leave me out saying "the game is full"

what kind of fucked system is that kek

I'd say if anything, there are definitely tweaks to be ironed out. From spectating friends, to rankings in teams games, stats, and other shit. The team games probably need to be modified. I'd be a lot less salty about team games if it was always the first round.

But the main thing this game needs right now is more maps. This current rotating pool of games is really shallow. What, about 15 maps maybe? How did they think they could launch the game with so little effort on the maps. There should have been 30-40 to start honestly.

I FUCKING DID IT

>everyone's thinking light hearted Takeshi's castle and Wipeout
>in my mind, this game's a death battle.

>rock paper scissors
bullshit event designed to kill good characters

Nope

Only happens to me when connecting to the initial match. They're having server issues though

It's a fun game to fire up for a couple of games before bed every now and then honestly, though the fact that the first season is so long really doesn't give me hope in the longevity of the game

The ending kinda sucked but I can't see how they would end it other then a reset.

>lose
>get butthurt
>AHH TOO MUCH SHIT YOU CANT CONTROL

just have fun lol stop playing when its not fun anymore :)

It's a solid basis for a game but it needs consistent support and the willingness to rotate out, completely rework, or outright remove some games.

Also this might be a casual thing to say but a Practice mode to run Race & Survival courses solo would be really nice. Maybe even tack on a leaderboard for times, but that'd distract people too much from the main mode I guess.

There's literally no stat tracking, penalties for leaving or any detriment to literally playing like a fucking retard to try out a new gamemode so I don't know why you'd need a practice mode.

>it's another episode of hoarders where somehow you got 9 of the most retarded cunts on the planet in your team

Tail Tag Final has got to go, it's so fucking dumb

I don't want to rely on RNG. I understand Hit Parade & Dizzy Heights & Whirlygig perfectly, but I've been given Slime Climb literally twice and the Mountain once (I only get Hexa-Gone as my final normally). I just want to learn the layout. Also seeing how fast some of those courses would be without crowds would be interesting.

Yeah they need to fix the rotation a bit as well as at least announce they are exploring new game modes.
Or if they have already, that's neat, I wanna see some fun teams minigames.

>last round is grab tails
>only 2 people
>I have tail
>move around a bit and win because the game has shit movement and grab mechanics and the dude cant catch me
wow

the game is just rng, you'll probably be disappointed if you think the majority of games are going to rely 100% on skill, this is going to be as casual as possible.

tail tag final is one of the most kino things
octagons > tail tag > that spin jump thing > fall mountain

>dunno why you'd need a practice mode when a practice mode can help people with learning the maps they don't get to play as often

Thank god, I was considering buying it because I am desperate for a new game to play but was weary of spending my limited amount of money.

Octagons is absolute L U D O

This game is made for children, I've played it for 4 hours and I know every map. What the fuck are you failing to comprehend? I'll give you a rundown of every map if you need help with this childs game.

I meant RNG as to what courses I get. I can't get good at Slime Climb if it never comes up in my Episodes.

I guarentee you the other guy was right on top of you spamming the grab button with nothing happening because the game is a laggy piece of shit.

I've come to the conclusion that it isn't that I hate team games so much as I hate egg scramble and 75% of the time I get a team game it's egg scramble

I've literally played the hoops game once after ~8 hours why the fuck is that never in rotation

I'm just not able to comprehend how you need practise, you didn't get it after 1 try? Literally walk and you outrun the slime and you get 3 attempts at every single obstacle to dodge it, most of the time it's the first 2 episodes so it's 45-30 qualifying spaces but half the lobby at the start are literal children who jump off themselves.

I think there's some kind of stage rotation going on in the background. The first time I played, I kept getting the stage with the spinning platforms as the first stage, and then the other night I would only get gate crashers as the opener, hex as the final, and would get the invisible tile one a lot too. I got the ring game for the first time ever last night and I've been playing it since Tuesday.

I'm curious to know if upcoming seasons will be entirely new stages, if they'll just add the new to the old, or if they'll keep some and cull others.

yeah the games fun but it won't take long before you're bored of it

I have had fun playing this game but was shocked on release day to see everyone evidently creaming their jeans over it. There's nowhere near enough depth here for this thing to be the next Rocket League.

But I do think it is fun and I hope they add some neat stuff in later seasons.

why didn't you take a single look at the artstyle, and say
>this looks gay
?

Ive played 4 rounds now, havent had this much fun with a game in a long while

I want a mode where you play Block Party, Rollout or the spinning sticks until only one player is left standing.
Make it get retardly fast the more time passes.

> tfw filtered in round 1

The reason you're bored is because there was a different course in each episode of Wipeout. They'd need to rotate new games/courses in/out every week to keep it fresh. Or just have a thousand different maps in the game.

I've never seen the zombie mode after two days

I wonder if Grodecki ever regreted to name himself like that and that he uploaded his drawings
