How does Dante realisticly beat him?

Cuz virgin is literally demonlet rage incarned

The power of love unironically

vergil is a literal autists child wannabe
while dante is a dude who just loves life and fun and is all around a more mature person because of it (funnily enough)
of course vergil loses in the end.

With soul

None of that matters if the autist has more combat trainning and skill

You could be better trained and have more skill and still lose in a fight, because fighting isn't practice.

Vergil lost his virginity young meaning he didn't fully get his wizard powers unlike Dante

Dante has equal amount of skill but unlike Vergil he is very open minded about tactics he uses

Because they are literally identical twins with the same potential and level of skill. They are equally matched. So Dante always has a 50% chance of winning. The first fight Dante hadn’t awakened his DT yet. But even by Vergil 2 they are equals.

It's not about how much you can do, but how much you can take

I learned this one from fighting games. You can sit and practice the same tech for hours but it's useless if you can't pull it off in a match.

>Instantanteous displacement
>Can teleport his blade away from him, while still swinging it around, eliminating the need for movement
>Can shoot swords in the air simultaneously
>Is more obsessed with strength and training than his brother
I know Dante has more weapons, but we never see him carrying them around or using them in cutscenes, outside of when you get them.
The weapons aren't even particularly useful.

I think Vergil can take a lot. He hasn't spent a day of his life in front of a computer screen.

Vergil has a humiliation kink

Other than him actively cutting space with Yamato and making portals, Vergil doesn't actually 'teleport around' but rather he's actively moving so fast that it looks like teleporting like Wesker in RE. Dante has the reflexes to like keep up or at least react to it

Killer Bee -> Jump cancel -> Killer Bee -> Jump cancel -> repeat.

Explain judgement cut, then.

>surfed a rocket fired at him
>destroyed a statue bigger than him by merely hitting it with his fist
>ran down a building while fighting demons, caught up to his own sword after shooting it then jumped more than 100ft away from the building at a perpendicular angle
>rode a motorcycle up the tower while pieces of it were falling, all while fighting demons with it midair, using the bike as a weapon
>can slow down time and create a doppelganger
Dante isnt really anything to scoff at either. This was just during the cutscenes shown as well. Not even gameplay related l.

Vergil is Dante's bitch cause he wears fucking blue

Vergil has way more success with his basic tactics, just look at the cutscenes. Vergil just deletes enemies Dante needs a full boss fight against.

because dante has plot armor

Why would Vergil be stronger than Dante again?

We really need a Virgil game or expansion if they want me to believe that Dante and Vergil are equals despite Dante shitting on him every time

Because Vergil rarely learns anything new while Dante is constantly picking up new weapons and changing his style.

Dante is the man who practiced 10,000 kicks once, Vergil is the man who practiced one kick 10,000 times.

Dante found his MOTIVATION.

The Heart is an OP power in the DMC universe.

It's alright, Vergil figured it out in DMC5 that's why they are even now.

>Why would Vergil be stronger than Dante again?
If the first Vergil boss fight didn't make that clear, Beowulf probably should. Dante only JUST surpases him by the ending.

I don't understand how that helps him in a duel.

By getting motivated

>If the first Vergil boss fight didn't make that clear
That's a bit unfair since he awakened directly after that fight while Vergil was already awakened

Awakened Vergil > Unawakened Dante
Awakened Vergil = Awakened Dante

Not that hard to interpret.

He's still just cutting space with Yamato.
Royal Guard > JC anyway

>game
>realistically

You dont see how slowing down time and creating a doppelganger equal to his abilities help?

Or having insanely fast reaction speed as well as inhuman strength?

I didn't think it really mattered if Vergil didn't even bother to turn and Dante still got KOed after awakening. But i guess im wrong there.

The next cutscene shows Dante still got stronger and faster after awakening without activating DT and Dante had already gotten fucked up and lost the fight by the time he awakened.

The more times you almost die and come back from the brink of death, the more powerful you get This is a fact.
