The song is based on Sam Lakes original poem that Poets of the Fall adapted for Max Payne 2 in collaboration with Sam. So I'm quite certain that Sam came up with that one.

August 27 is the one year anniversary of Controls release which means the Epic exclusivity deal will expire the same day as the DLC drops. The steam page only says "Coming August 2020" but it's quite reasonable to assume there'll be an official announcement soon

Nigger the game basically tells you the whole thing was potentially bullshit right as soon as that scene finishes. It was probably Mr. Scratch or something else in the Dark Place making him think he won just to shit on him and trap him in another loop.

That was American Nightmare, not the DLC. I liked it too, but I can see why people shat on it. It's three small areas you play three times in a row. I would've rather they made the game a little shorter and just put in like 5 unique areas instead of doing the timeloop thing.

Too repetitive. Other than that it was good imo, I like Mr. Scratches a lot and his actors performance is great. Such a shame his story was finished in a spinoff DLC rather than a full fledged sequel since he has main game villain potential
